It was and okay ice cream shop for gelato, not the best but average since drug addicts and people with mental problems hangout outside the shop.

we had been looking forward to trying this place and went out of our way to stop by at around 3:30 (they say they close at 1) and they had the gate down and shop closed without any kind of sign or notice

The butter pecan wasn't on the menu but I'm glad I looked in the case. It's my hubby's favorite. He had that and the tiramisu.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The two women behind the counter were rude and clearly didn't care at all. I tried giving my order for two different flavors of ice cream. The counter attendant cut me off and scooped up two scoops of the same flavor. The ice cream was decent but nothing worth putting up with that level of rudeness

Expensive but good. Unfortunately they discontinued my favorite flavor, lime and basil, the intensity of which is just unmatched

Make sure you ask the girl with the contacts what she wants you to do first. She was SO rude YELLING at me across the store and stood to slap the sign at me because apparently I wasn’t allowed to look at the flavors first and let the guy help me. I said I’m not sure why you’re raising you’re being so aggressive. The guy had taken both our orders and I’m still not exactly sure what she was angry about except that I didn’t goTalk to her first. My Husband, I, and the other couple who overheads as they Walked in right behind us decided to leave. Apparently it’s a running theme even with kids so I would go to all the other great places around!

Weird experience at this shop. Ordered a cone with 2 flavors, but was told one was out. We tried to look for another flavor (we were the only people in the shop), and they asked us to pay for the cone first, which was confusing. The woman was not nice and was difficult to communicate with, so we ended up just leaving. Big problems with customer service.

We visited this spot in March 2023, and it was open. The selection was limited, partly due to large post-St. Patrick's Day crowds on top of supply chain issues. But what they did have was delicious. We got hazelnut chocolate and dulce de leche. Sweet, creamy, a perfect end to a long night. I don't know how to change a "closed" status on Yelp, but if you're in New Orleans and craving gelato, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The ice cream is amazing, and the macaroons are freaking LIFEEEEEEE. The macaroons are a little too pricey but that’s normal for New Orleans. And let me not forget to show the girl that was working today some love. I unfortunately didn’t get to catch her name but she handles the drunk, happy, crazy, sometimes unsatisfied customers, with absolutely so much grace. Customer service, ice cream, macaroons, and convenience is 100% on point.

Nice Raspberry sorbet in a hot spring day! They have a verity of selections and neat place.

They also go by Gelato Royal. The gelato is excellent. We tried coconut and chocolate flavors. They have about 20 flavors. It was hard to tell as the humidity was fogging the cases. The small cups cause leakage while you eat. I wish they used larger cups. Staff was a mix of friendly and rude. Our server was great but the people in line behind us were treated rudely.

We are hoping to get flower shaped ice cream. The cashier said they don't do it anymore... That was disappointing. The cashier wasn't friendly and she told me to order first to go to look at the ice creams. That was fine, but the way she said was offensive. Ice cream was good. We won't come back again though.

The Gelato is smooth and creamy. They have a variety of options but my favorite was the lemon pie. You get a subtle but very profound taste. To top off the taste, you get a surprise cookie in some bites! A must visit!!!!!
