I have tried to eat here three times, but our schedules didn't align — as they say, third time's a charm. I wouldn't trade our experience for anything! From the host greeting (apologies, I didn't catch his name) to our server, Michael, and his teammates, it was an amazing experience. I started with a wedge (homemade blue cheese, nom nom) and then had the filet special topped with andouille sausage, Gulf shrimp, roasted potatoes, and Southern greens. My partner in crime chose the Coolinary menu, a tasting menu feature at NOLA restaurants right now, that began with a warm zucchini salad, seafood cannelloni, and ended with an incredible Dulce de leche cheesecake. Five BIG stars for Annunciation, and we will be back soon!

My brother and I ate at the bar. The bartender, Phillip, was great. The drinks and food were wonderful. Phillip was engaging and wonderful bartender/server.

It was our first time dining at Annunciation and it was tremendous! We were in NOLA for a conference, and it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (Higgins). We thought we'd give the restaurant a try since it was participating in "Coolinary New Orleans" for August 2025. We weren't disappointed! Approaching it, the outside is very unassuming and modest but very neat and tidy. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. Dining room was homey, intimate and comfortable. The service during dinner was impeccable. The staff was very attentive. Our waiter as well as the manager continued to check on us throughout our dinner service. It was not super busy but it was still early on Saturday evening -- about 6 to 6:30, and the tables started to get filled as dinner went along. I tried the Chef's ravioli of the day (spinach and ricotta -- home made pasta and wonderful marinara.) My entre was the fish of the day which was drum. Great flavor and tender, wonderfully seasoned. My wife had the warm zucchini salad and for the entree she enjoyed seafood cannoli (again, homemade pasta) -- she infrequently eats seafood but she very much relished her meal. For dessert we had vanilla creme brulee and a chocolate truffle. It was an evening with very enjoyable food and tremendous service. We would love to go back again when we're in town again!

Probably the best restaurant I have ever been to, definitely best in New Orleans. I recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner!

What a wonderful surprise and excellent service, not to even mention the food is beyond expectations. 10/10 will dine here again on my next trip home. Get the Cannelloni, it is heaven!

Great experience. Our party tried both their standard menu and the NOLA “coolanary” menu. Everything was excellent

The ambiance was very nice, we had full attention from our server Nike as in the begging we were the only customers. Food was great, really enjoyed it.

What a nice experience. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my wife at a restaurant we had not visited before. We had rated at Plates several times and I noticed a restaurant a block away situated on the corner of Annunciation and Poeyfarre. I checked out their menu which looked quite interesting and not overly expensive. I made reservations, which we really didn't really need, and was gracious met at the door and shown our table. To make a long story short our server was awesome. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes, a Wedge Salad and the Softshell Crab Monica. Everything was excellent. Check this place out.

If I never eat bread pudding again in my life at least I know I've eaten the best and it's at Annunciation. Friendly staff and wonderful food.

First time here, coming for restaurant week, and we absolutely loved this place. The waitstaff were so accommodating with our group that arrived early, which is not our normal. Lol! Anyway, we each ordered from the preset menu. Everyone totally enjoyed the offerings. The meatball app was perfect, as was the beet and burrata. Our entrees were Cornish hen and salmon, both delicious!! Finally, the desserts of butterscotch pudding or tiramisu topped it all off. We are ready to go back to try the regular menu now!

The whole experience was lovely. The host was gracious and welcoming at the door. My server was so friendly, warm and helpful. She made wonderful recommendations on food and wine. The other server, even though I wasn't seated in his section, engaged me in friendly conversation. The restaurant is an excellent place to experience delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

From the moment I entered the restaurant, the service was outstanding! My waiter was terrific and very attentive as I was dining solo. I ordered from the restaurant week menu. I started with the tomato, burrata, beet salad, salmon in a puff pastry, and the butterscotch custard. Everything was delicious!! I highly recommend and will be back!! My meal was one of the best and most enjoyable meals I've ever had in New Orleans!
