Another Broken Egg has a great name because it conveys the essence of the place so well: just another brunch spot.
The food is passing. I had the crab cake Benedict and it was fine. I’d prefer less crab and more cake as it tasted mostly like lump crab meat with little seasoning, but others may enjoy that. The hollandaise was rather flavorless which is an impressive feat. The mixed fruit was bad - the oranges tasted like they had started fermenting. The poached egg was pretty on point, though it could have been a touch more runny for my liking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food, but no one was particularly impressed. Someone did have one of the mocktails and enjoyed it.
It was the service that really didn’t click for me. I get that it’s fairly busy, but it’s not a huge spot and I shouldn’t have to ask for refills on my coffee. Other members of the party didn’t receive all of their order and had to ask. No one checked on us the entire time and we had to waive the server down to get our check.
The atmosphere of a restaurant in general isn’t something I particularly care much about and it’s fine. Nothing special, nothing bad.
It’s worth noting the parking lot is tiny and you’ll likely have to park on a side street.
Overall, I was not very impressed. I don’t like giving out bad reviews, but I personally didn’t experience anything that would cause me to recommend this place over the million other similar brunch spots in the city 2.5/5

Anthony was amazing at the bar. Very helpful and timing for checking on our need was excellent. We even purchased a mug for my wonderful fiancé. He’s from Monroe La. This was his first time visiting the restaurant.

Brought my mom here for a delicious Fall experience celebrating with their limited time seasonal items. We had the Lobster Hash Benedict and the Tiramisu French Toast, sausage patties, eggs, and their smooth city grits with water and Colombian coffee. If you have the time definitely come and give it a try. Bill came out to be around $55 but it was a whole lot of food that you probably won't need anything until dinner and really just something light to eat. Waitress was knowledgeable and kept checking on us throughout the time we were there. I really don't have any complaints. We will be back another time to break another egg. ?

My girl ordered the Crab Cake Benedict the waitress convinced her to get the lobster hash brown Benedict instead & was disappointed. Just a few shreds of lobster on top and $4 more. Oh well, it’s my birthday and we’re trying to stay positive. Very nice ambience and the server was trying her best during a busy time.
