Apolline is a charming little boutique restaurant tucked away on Magazine Street. The food? Excellent. Creative, flavorful, and well-prepared. If your priority is a solid meal and you're not too concerned with the service, this place might work for you. We called ahead to confirm vegetarian options and made a reservation noting we were celebrating three special occasions. While we were acknowledged when we walked in, that's where the warmth ended. Our server never mentioned our celebrations and made no real effort to connect or engage with us. The service was blunt and impersonal. One dish had to be returned after just two bites, and we were told we'd have to pay full price for a replacement. The vegetarian option was also charged at the same price as a full omelet—no accommodation or flexibility, just a flat approach. There's also a 4% kitchen fee tacked onto your bill to "support the kitchen staff." Honestly, I'd rather the meal prices be slightly higher and know the staff is being compensated fairly, instead of feeling like the owners are passing that responsibility onto the diners. Bottom line: If you care more about what's on the plate than the experience surrounding it—and you're not price sensitive—give Apolline a try. But if service, attentiveness, or value matter to you, this may not be the best fit.

We came here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and were totally excited about everything this restaurant had to offer. The flavor and the cooking were enticing and delicious! My husband said it was the best pork chop he had ever had. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. We will definitely rely come back next time we are in NOLA. .

Super freaking cute !!!! Its very homey , so they treat you like GUESTS , not customers . Food was beautiful , tasted slightly oily but my friend had nothing but positive things to say . Would be back , maybe just not on a saturday

I went to this restaurant over the weekend with my family and they were able to accommodate a party of 12. There was no wait and the food was sensational. I had the course meal and it was enough for two. Very big portions and the food is reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning!
