After a lifetime of Grits avoidance, it was Apolline that finally turned me - actually changed my mind. I was a "Grits Convert" they said, as if it were a common experience from their point of view.Maybe it was just the first time I'd experienced Grits as anything better than bland and uninspired gruel. Or maybe the preparation here was exceptional. Whatever the case, the Shrimp and Grits was irresistible. I felt a shade guilty, as if anything this good must be illegal, even in a city with few such social limitations.Short version: The food was excellent and the service was genuine. It was an easy place to enjoy, easier to recommend.

Had a fine meal with dad at Apolline. The owner Keith was incredibly hospitable and clearly took pride over his business. Service was on point. The food was incredible. I had the scallops, pops went with the lamb chops. The bread pudding really sealed the deal. God bless.

Its 4 days later and I am still thinking about the chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes and that multi-layered Bloody Mary! We are all around NOLA and it stands out. Service was pleasant but took a while - plan a good amount of time to relax and enjoy company.

Cute spot. White table cloth. Bottomless mimosas. Pricey. Friendly owner. We were last seated (based on my reservation) for the day prior to 2pm closing on a Sunday. The food was so slow coming out but we enjoyed our time here and our outdoor table. We want to come back to try a fish dish.

What a treat ! We had a lovely dinner. We decided to get several appetizers and share. They kindly split them for us. The salad and octopus were both spectacular ! The poutine had more of a bolognese than gravy. I’m Canadian so I’m picky about poutine. My husband loved it though.Overall, The food and service were both excellent! The daiquiri was super tasty. I hadn’t had one in years but I enjoyed it. The maître d ( and perhaps the owner, not sure ) was great. We will be back when we are in NOLA !

Lovely evening! Everyone was pleasant and the food was fantastic. We ordered several appetizers to share. The kitchen kindly split the salad for us. The octopus was divine ! I didn't love the poutine because it was more of a bolognese than a gravy. My husband loved it though ! The daiquiri was so tasty ! We will be back.

We had brunch and our party of four tried different dishes. All were happy with their choices, especial mention was given to the roasted pork enchiladas and the wagyu burger. Service was attentive yet not intrusive. Will definitely recommend.

I've been here numerous times and they were just off today, cold food, delays on cocktails etc. this may be a one off as the place has always been a fave, but was notable worse this time...

Food is fantastic. Service is deplorable, and that’s only because I can’t find a better word for how bad the waitress was!

Great brunch, delicious food. Good service. Bottomless mimosas. Nice decor, wish their patio was open more. We had the eggs Apolline with candied bacon - absolutely delicious.Dietary restrictions: Some Celiac friendly options and server was very knowledgeable and accommodating

We had a wonderful meal of six old friends. Outstanding drinks and lots of laughs. Our server was friendly and enthusiastic and made us feel welcome. we shared tasty appetizers includes grilled octopus, chicken poutine. I had a pork chop that was perfectly prepared. One in our group raved about the seared scallops and shrimp.

The room is beautiful, The cocktail menu is creative and the drinks were tasty. The food and service were outstanding as well. The scallops and shrimp were amazing. I cannot say enough about this little gem of a restaurant. do yourself a favor and go.

This is not my first visit to Apolline. Loved it each time before. But this visit was horrible! The scallops and salmon were burned. Not only burned but served with the burn side up in the plate. My fish was also served with the well done skin up. The potatoes on my plate looked and tasted as though they had been made 2 days ago and sat under a heat lamp. The waiter must have been brand new because he didn't bring butter for the bread until we asked for it. My husband ordered one of the speciality drinks and the waiter said he was out. He brought the burned food and sat it on the table as if there was not a problem and walked away. No domestic beer- only weird draft. Happy Valentine's dinner. ❤️

Great little restaurant, right on the Uptown Parade route for Mardi Gras. Parking may be tough during Mardi Gras but other times no problem at all. Food & cocktails are always good.
