We had a lovely experience! The food was excellent, the service was nice and prompt and the atmosphere was calm, quiet, and pleasant. We had the bhindi masala, chole masala, and paneer kadai, all of which were very good. The heat level was pretty mild, but the flavor balance was excellent.Parking: Very small number of spots in front (5-6). There may be more parking in the back...

Tried this place on my trip to New Orleans. As we weren't that hungry so we just tried few items here. We started off with Masala Papad and Papdi Chaat. Both the Masala Papad and Papdi chaat were delicious. We then had plain dosa which was just ok. I requested for soft dosa however the dosa served wasn't soft. Also, the dosa was served with less portion of Sambhar and peanut chutney. The ambiance was just ok. The server was shy and didn't talk much.

All in all great place if you want great authentic Indian food, the atmosphere here is quiet with not loud music playing, they play jazz and other soft music. The service is better than any other place I’ve been in a long time. I’ve been here a few times and they have never disappointed me at all. It’s clean on the inside and well kept. The prices for the food might look pricey but the serving sizes are worth it and the food is very filling because it’s not fake food.

Great food. Quick takeout. Butter chicken of course. Samosas are the best I have had.

I dined at Aroma with a large group of friends, and I had an amazing experience! Our server was very patient and accommodating for our large party and was attentive to our needs, regularly refilling our waters and checking in on us often. The food was absolutely delectable! My personal favorite dishes were the samosas, the saag paneer, and the butter chicken. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The only thing about my experience I would change was that one of the bathrooms had no paper products stocked in it. Besides that, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in NOLA.

First time trying this place and absolutely LOVED it. Big fan of Indian cuisine and there were several dishes I haven’t heard of before. Service was amazing and everyone in our party of 8 lived their dishes. The location is a little suspect, but when you step inside I promise you’ll be surprised. My new favorite in town!

Aroma never misses. Every time I've eaten here has been a delight. Chicken 65, saag paneer, malai kofta, chicken chettinad, lamb chop, butter chicken. One of few places that I get something new almost every time--everything is good.
