We went for my birthday dinner and it was delicious! We got the special short rib and gumbo to start, then I got the gulf fish and my boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. It was all the delicious. Our cocktails were great as well. We got the lemon tart for dessert which was not my favorite but that’s okay.

2022 review: What a wonderful place - great food, excellent intimate dining at it's best. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Warm Goat Cheese salad. For dinner, we had the Lowcountry Shrimp and Grits and the Chili rubbed Pork Chop. The chop was super tender and these were some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. For dessert, we had the Tres Leches Bread Pudding and the Pear & Ginger Empanadas. This meal has put Atchafalya at the top of my list!

Oh my goodness! Our 4th time there and the best of them all. Char grilled oysters were huge and fresh. A whale sized soft shell crab done perfectly and the chocolate dessert was over the top. Reasonably priced drinks and wines and I could not possibly be happier.

We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!
