Got the chefs tasting menu. It was easily top 10 meals of my life. Maybe top 5. The vibe was good. The service was perfect. The food was phenomenal.

Extremely polished restaurant on all elements - from initial seating, greetings with staff and servers; complimentary "tastes" from the kitchen; and then commencing the ordering. Wine list extensive and with all regions of world with normal pricing. With a one page menu , it allows the kitchen to focus on its dishes and they id. Your taste buds explode with the flavors resonating from each dish. Moving into the dessert and knowing that a dedicated pastry chef's creations await, she left no disappointment whatsoever. With team serving and complete staff attentiveness, this is a restaurant that should be on those seeking fine dining at its best!

We had a wonderful night out at Restaurant August. We did the Chef's Menu and every course was excellent and well prepared. The paired wines were well done and we enjoyed chatting with the sommelier as he brought around the wines. The environment is very nice and well maintained. Table and chairs were very comfortable. Service was impeccable. Overall, this was the best restaurant we experienced during our 5 nights in NOLA and would go back again.

We really wanted this restaurant experience to be the best of our trip. Not quite, but close. Contemporary Creole creates a tension between tradition and innovation. I'm not a fan of fusion, but some people are. Putting aside labels, there is a lot of talent and enthusiasm here. Much of it works. At a high price point, people expect to be enchanted. Some dishes really work. Others are works in progress. The team is in good spirits, and so are most if the customers. Perfection is in reach, but not there yet.

This restaurant was on my list for a long time as its 2 block away from my house still never got a chance to go there. Reservation was very smooth while i had some questions about my dietary restrictions which they took care of it. I am usually type of guy who enjoys some good expensive wine than the food and i was impressed with both wine selections which my sommelier suggested me. Me and my gf really enjoyed all the food with lots of colours and flavours. Had a wonderful chef’s special 7-10 course meal with my gf service and the explaination of the food was amazing but could have been more interactive service like waiter came once or twice and saw him at the end !! Lots of different flavours on food. Thank you soo much once again for doing vegetarian 10 dish 7 course menu.
I would recommend them to try for michelin star or hopefully they can get it when michelin visited new orelans !

Really high quality food. The Sweet Corn Blueberry dessert is one of the best desserts in the world. Please never take this off your menu. I will come back again and again as long as this dessert is on the menu.
There are two dining rooms, one is a bright beautiful room with high ceiling and windows. This is the room you want to sit in. The other room is a tiny cramped room with tables packed right next to each other. For some odd reason they sat us in the small dark room while 2 tables sat empty the entire time in the beautiful main dining room. Had to deduct a star for that.
