Went here for our 25 wedding anniversary this past Saturday. Our server was ok and his side guy was even better. We were seated by the window in the left corner directly across from the host. Questioned was it a special evening- I said yes- .. Was advised that we would be being served the house cornbread- which was delicious- we then were served a lovely sweet potato app in an egg. I ordered the truffle gnocchi and my hubby other braised ravioli- both fantastic. Entrees we ordered the snapper and duck with grits. My fish tasted not fresh- old even?? . Now- what I did not like was- we arrived- and was asked by the server to order our apps and entree at the same time. I felt like ok… first time being here- an I have a moment. Our reservation wat at 5:30- we was literally out the door tab/ tip paid at 6:05.. I felt so rushed and was very disappointed that I didn’t get to enjoy my dinner at my pace - not to speak we were the only people of color in the building. Weird vibes for me. Do better!

Beautiful restaurant in old building that has been decorated beautifully with gorgeous chandeliers and a few separate rooms. The service was superb with efficient waiters that never interrupt your meal. They were also very knowledgeable and well mannered. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was unique and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. And it has many gluten-free options.

The service is truly outstanding, with a welcoming and attentive staff who offer excellent advice on both food and wine. We were the first arrival that evening and we were seated immediately. Our servers were extremely delightful and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The ambiance and history of the building is fascinating and it has a cozy, quiet, romantic atmosphere. The food was excellent and we would definitely return the next time we are in New Orleans.
