We had a memorable farewell dinner with my wife’s colleagues here and it changed my first impression of NOLA (primarily French quarters), many nice mansions around this restaurant with classic architectural design.
The dishes were flavorful, not salty nor too sweet. Beet root salad was out of the world experience for us (from Singapore). The spaghetti side was very good too. One more thing, am I the only one that the meatball texture is similar to that of caviar?

The wine list does not include producers! The waiter claimed it was because the wines changed frequently and the restaurant does not want to reprint the menu. The detailed descriptions for the wines, as well as their price, does not change… I have never encountered this methodology for selling wine in my entire life. Don’t hold your breath for cocktails either because the bar service is extremely slow and cocktails arrived at wildly different times. Food was alright but small portion sizes for the high price.
The manager should make an effort to accurately communicate with customers what wines they have. If the manager is unable to do this, I’m sure the wine reps would do it for you!

Wow the meatballs appetizer was delicious and full of flavor, the bread with oil was also great, but main dish of chicken and vegetables was the best moist chicken I ever had, can't go wrong, 10 stars !!

Please eat here 🙏!!! My family and I enjoyed This place so much this will be our new Saturday dinner!!! Please get the Caesar salad and get the tiramisu too! We had the best waiter and the food was beyond what we could have ever expected- not in a bad way. We got a bunch of things to share and we love eating that way so if you do too then I encourage you to.

Our favorite Italian spot in town. Love the atmosphere. Awesome bar service and we love the pastas especially the lasagna. Seafood dishes always a hit too.
Chris our server was nice but the food (ordered lasagna and veal parm) was not very flavorful.

Had an outstanding dinner last night at Avo! Started with Golden beet and Burrata sprinkled with candied walnuts delish! Then shared the Arugala pear salad with crispy prosciutto and crumbled Gorgonzola, amazing! Highlight was between my truffle mushroom fettuccine, that was so light and delicate it danced, and my decadent chocolate brownie with the perfect amount of ice cream. Melting on top. Mel was attentive and pleasant. We will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Plenty of good Italian places in the area but this was really good. Not a lot of tables in the place and well staffed so the service was awesome and our food came out quite promptly. Great flavors on the food. We both had pastas and loved them a lot. Also the lemon Italian ice dessert was VERY refreshing and tasty.
