My family is obsessed with this bakery. To be honest there isn't much for me here but I can tell the quality is really good

Crowded place but it has very delicious bread, unfortunately the sandwiches served are cold. The service is not the greatest, I forgot to order a latte with my sandwiches and young lady did not allow me to place an additional order without waiting in the line, I was sent back to the end of the line to order a coffee.

I just recently moved to NOLA and this place was recommended.
Pastries are delicious specially the sausage & cheese , staff is very friendly.

The pastries are fine, but not worth the wait. Despite a long line outside, staff were chatting among themselves instead of serving customers, and once inside the shop was nearly empty. The food is decent, but overall the experience does not justify the time spent waiting.

In a city with incredible food everywhere I go out of my way to hit Ayu every time I am in town. So, so good. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad item! And staff is always friendly and keeps the line moving.

I think this place is a little over hyped
The kaya bun was really dense and not flaky
The boudin bun was good
Chocolate babka was good
Vegan mufflaleta was fine. Interesting addition of the Lao Gan Ma

Great customer service. Atlas is great but pastries were mediocre. I didn’t like the cornbread cookie, the cinnamon roll or bread. Tasted dry and slightly burnt but the chocolate croissant was decent.

Kaya toast was light, layered, and fluffy. Would be even better if there was lemon curd filling instead. Focaccia was drier and less spongy than should be. Sourdough has nice crust and crumb

Most delicious pastries I have ever had- snagged the last coconut Kaya bun of the day and will be thinking about that for years. Muffaletta breadstick was deliciously savory and olive forward. Also the cocopresso was a surprising hit- sweet but also balanced. Love u guys :)

Expected better pastry and drinks. Pretty mediocre, not very good. The food and drink looks nice but lacks severly in taste and substance

Kaya: Highly recommend the kaya bread! It’s true to taste, moist and very yummy!
Shroom boom: Cheesy and mushroomy, exactly how I expected it to taste (but it’s quite smol 🤭)
Chai latte: Not really a fan of this. The latte wasn’t thick enough and the chai was extremely spiced. I don’t even know if it’s the taste of chai, cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg? I drink a lot of chais, but this was a bit much for me.
Yummy delicious baked goods. Everything is delicious, great welcoming staff.
Every time I am in the area, I enjoy a couple pastries.... Worth the wait.
