We found this spot when looking for restaurants walkable from our hotel. We made a reservation online then headed over. It seems so out of place in the area because this place was phenomenal! There were six of us, for starters we had the guacamole with chicharron added, ceviche, crawfish queso, and the arepas. Everything was so delicious. We enjoyed our visit to Bésame early last Saturday. We had the oxacana ceviche, the queso fundido, and split the shrimp and grits. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was great at the bar. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. We'll definitely return to Bésame to try something else.
We ordered fish & grits and a Mofongo steak. They were both delicious and very reasonably priced. We also got a guacamole tapas which was very fresh. Our server was warm and friendly and the ambience was pleasant. Would definitely recommend going here for a nice change from the cajun food.
