Let me start by saying that the food was great! I ordered the oxtail and grits, and we also ordered the mimosa flight. No complaints there. However, I must say that the hostess, Wendy, was off putting from start to finish. Not only did she go out of her way to be rude, but it seems like the entire staff is aware of her behavior. She came over to the table to bring silverware and napkins shortly after we were seated, and she intentionally turned her back to me and set both sets of silverware and napkins in front of the person that I was dining with. Mind you, this occurred after she had made several rude comments while we were waiting on an available table, and just generally had a very nasty disposition about herself. When I asked my waitress (Tori) whether this individual was the owner of the restaurant, the waitress told me that "she was just the hostess" and that "everybody says that about her." It seems to me like I would not want someone like this associated with my business, but that is just me. Hopefully they make the necessary adjustments to address the customer service, especially given the automatic 20% gratuity included with all checks. Great food, but I will not be returning.

Excellent food and service. Nice spot for young adults to have brunch or lunch. However, one feedback I would give is concerning the music. The music is loud and can cause hearing problems because it’s not distributed properly around the restaurant. The music is played on a large party speaker and makes it hard to have conversations with your guests. However, overall it's a nice spot to have brunch or birthday celebrations. FYI Very busy on Sundays!

We came here for my friend's birthday on vacation (3-16-24) she picked this spot. We had to wait over an hour and a half to be seated then I order chicken and waffles about 15 to 20 minutes later the waitress came back and said that the waffle machine was down and I really didn't see anything else on the menu that I wanted. The music was a nice touch but the place is really small will I be back I doubt it

Lemon drop flights were not made well at all. Tasted like straight liquor, no flavor. Oxtails and grits were AMAZING. Server not very attentive. We spent over $200 not super pleased with the experience, but wanted to support!

It's like a well dressed whole in the wall. Food was good, drinks were subpar and the service is poor. The girl manning the front with the braids was exceptionally rude with a nasty attitude. I think the establishment lacks professionalism, they charge an automatic 20% gratuity, I say that to say that the service needs to match the required tip amount.

Decided to come because TikTok recommended it and it was great. It was Mardi Gras 2024, so the wait was extensive. But I will return. The service was a delight and spot on. I asked for a strong drink that I could feel in my soul, and the Killer Bee (Fish Bowl) did NOT disappoint. This is a team effort type of drink being large as ever! The shrimp bites were a little on the drier side but the added sauce helped add moisture. Big Buzz Chicken Thighs were AMAZING!Cons: Limited waiting seating. The restaurant is located in a residential area and the space is quite small.

I decided to check out the B-Spot because it is not only black owned but it is owned by a black woman. This is a such a cute little spot. Had the Blackened Shrimp and Grits and it was so so good. Not commercial at all. The cocktails looked yummy but I went during work hours so it was a sweet tea for me. Would not only recommend but will visit again next time I'm in the city.

Music was EVERYTHING! I think perhaps the space is a little cramped for the size crowd it draws. We waited 90+min only to be sat in the "pub?" In the back...and at a small narrow stand up table with wobbly bar stools....in the dark gallway where people were walking to the restroom (also by the kitchen) and the moss decor hanging from the ceiling was dangling in our faces. It was a bit annoying (esp since people were being sat before us and even those sat after us got an actual table. But we see what the hype is on social media. The food is designed and plated really well. The brkfst hash was good (crab and hashbtowns with eggs topped with well seasoned chicken breast?...is a great combo). My friends shrimp and grits weren't the best bc the grits were cold. But she enjoyed the shrimp and the drinks!I think we'd def give it another shot just to see if we could have better experience...and maybe try different dishes. I like the concept and the popularity says a lot about their reputation.

Husband and I really enjoyed the food at Bspot. We was seated very quickly and the food took no time to come out. They had great r&b music with a live saxophone player. The decor I loved as well. We had salmon bites, spinach dip, lobster and grits, and fried fish and grits...everything was great!Just a few notes the music is loud so first date or having a deep conversation this would not be the place lol. But the vibes are fun and chill. And if you have a big party you will have a wait because it's a tight space but it's worth the wait. Also their is a 20% gratuity added on every receipt doesn't matter if you are a party of 1 or 10.
