Went here for the first time last night and this might be my new favorite place to get Vietnamese food in Metairie. We started with the Pork Dumplings and Pork Gyoza, then ordered a Ba Chi Baco and Curry Tofu Baco to split. They were all great, but I could've ordered another order of the Gyoza just for me. Then we got the Spicy Lemongrass wings, Curry Beef Stew with Roti bread and Sweet Chili Fried Shrimp Vermicelli for our entrees. Everything was delicious. It would've been easier to eat if the tails were taken off the shrimp, but still tasty. The service was great too. Can't wait to try more next time.

Food was decent. Good flavor from the lemongrass chicken
I absolutely love eating here and have yet to make my way through the entire menu, minus the shellfish unfortunately. Everything I've had here has been great! I especially like the Chicken Curry Bacos! They're a must have!

Good spot to get Viet and Asian fusion food here. I got the baos which I’ve never seen a big menu of baos before! My favorite was the fish with miso sauce. The food was good, I got the fries and it was huge and flavorful, it was interested to take a bite and the kimchi was cold with the hot fries and sauce. I wish there was more beef, quality of it was okay. Overall I’d come back!

Really enjoyed the food I thought it was a bit overprices at first, but felt as though it was acceptable when taking into consideration portion size and simply the quality of the food. Our food came out pretty quickly and was absolutely amazing.
Wings, Roti bread, Beef stew and the entire party plater is a definitely recommend. Cant wait to go back to try the ramen.

We had the bulgogi, pineapple and peach smoothies, and combination banh mi. It was the best banh mi I’ve ever had. So, I had to order a second one after I finished the first. I simply could not get enough. You owe it to yourself to eat here. Additionally, our server was so nice and friendly. Everything was so clean and very spacious. I can’t wait to come back here as I am very particular about where I eat.

So let me spill the tea on Ba Chi Kitchen. I waltzed in ready for my banh mi dreams, and found the staff living their best lives… glued to their phones. Like, okay, pop off, but I did have to walk over to their table and gently interrupt the group chat just to ask for a menu. To be fair, they were super sweet once I pried them away from TikTok.
I sat down and ordered the deconstructed banh mi with meatballs because, you know, I’m fancy. When it hit the table, I’ll admit the presentation was gorgeous. Like, influencer-level beautiful. But then… the bread. Tragic. Stale enough to double as a doorstop.
And listen, I’m not afraid to splurge on good food, but $35 for a deconstructed sandwich with stale bread is a lot, even for me and my bougie taste buds.
Four stars because the vibes are cute, the staff is nice, and the plate was pretty enough for its own photo shoot. But honey, for thirty-five bucks, I’d like my bread fresh and not requiring dental insurance to chew.

Ba Chi Kitchen + Bar in Metairie is a gem! We had the oxtail stew, spicy lemongrass wings, baos, and the sake flight—everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every dish.
The drinks were well made, and the sake flight was a fun touch. Great vibe all around.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
Definitely one of my new favorite spots in the area. Can’t wait to go back!
