This feels like a place you’d see in an HBO finale where all the hot late 20s to 30 or 40 something’s meet up in the season finale to have a celebratory send-off of some kind. If like the vibes of Sideways were a restaurant. Truly unique dining experience. Food was great. Drinks were fantastic. Music was delightful. Service is top notch. Property is adorable. Will scream this recommendation from rooftops for anyone visiting NOLA. 5/5 will return at some point.

What a magical patio. Great atmosphere, music, and people. You definitely get a community vibe as you hang out over wine and small bites. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The charcuterie board was massive. Diverse offering of spirits.

Bacchanal is pure magic. The shrimp made me emotional, the steak and fries could start a religion, and the pork belly? Life-changing. Great wine, great vibes, mild food coma would absolutely do it again.

Customer service certainly has degraded over the past couple of years. I have been here dozens of times over the years. It used to be a friendly neighborhood place, but it has turned into a tourist spot, and I believe the staff treat everyone like a tourist. I was there yesterday and asked about a cabernet I had from there last time and the woman at the register inside said, “well did you see it over there?” I said no but I wasn’t sure if it was in a different place. She said if its not there we don’t have it. My friend and I were the only ones in there so it’s not like she was busy or distracted. In the past they would talk to you like a human and ask how you were and then help to explain the new wines they got in. We bought two bottles of wine and picked up a couple of cheeses and some prosciutto. When it was delivered the prosciutto was simply taken out of the plastic package and slapped on the plate still stuck together in a layer, which was just pitiful. The black olives were teeny tiny things with pits that had a unpleasant flavor. They used to put almonds or nuts and other olives but not this time. Another annoyance was the duo playing music took 3 breaks and went table to table with the bucket in your face. He was very aggressive coming to each table with the bucket extended asking if we liked the music. I had a ton of dollar bills so for the first break I gave him $8 since I figured we would be there for a while. Well I didn’t realize he was coming back twice more. I declined the 2nd time but gave another few dollars the third since they were finished. It put a damper on the mood. BUT It still has a great atmosphere and is a great place to go and sit with your friends for the afternoon.

What a place. Backyard like wine, food and music. Buy your bottle upfront and head to the back to order some great food. Or run upstairs to a cocktail or just a glass of wine. Vibrant and inviting. Great hangout.

Live jazz, amazing wine selection and an insanely good cheese board. Came as a tourist but felt like a local. Back yard is a total vibe. One of our fave spots in New Orleans.

This was such a great outdoor space to enjoy a couple of bottles of wine with a group of friends. There was live music which made for such a nice ambiance. Really lovely atmosphere here.
The set up is unique, as you can purchase a whole bottle of wine and self serve, but they also have a bar upstairs. We didn’t purchase any food, but everyone’s looked so good around us. Really enjoyed hanging out here for the evening!

Simply fantastic. What a great spot to enjoy amazing music, great food and a true oasis of a space. We came as a group of 8 and absolutely loved everything about this spot. Great wine, great food, great cocktails and beers. What more could you truly want. A 12/10 experience. If you come to New Orleans come here! And get the pork belly holy best pork belly I’ve had in a minute!

Wonderful spot that I hope to get back to one day. A friend brought us there while we were visiting for a few days in New Orleans! All cities should have a spot like this. It's the best wine shop/cheese/art and music experience out there. Simple, clever, fun. Delicious charcuterie board and wonderful music.

Amazing food!! It was confusing to understand their set up at first, but, they have a small place downstairs where you can buy wine and you either take it home or take it upstairs to the restaurant and have it with the food you are gonna order.
In the back there is a patio with occasional live music.
Seriously… amazing food!

Most unique place in New Orleans! Great wine list and the food was awesome! But that's not what makes it unique. Definitely worth a visit. I'm sure other food was great (it all looked amazing) but the 2 things I recommended were what we had.

Incredible experience, very lax but refined. Got a bottle of red and some meat and cheese for a snack which they took to the kitchen and made into a beautiful charcuterie board. Ambiance outside was relaxing, service was very helpful, and we had the pleasure of talking with an employee Shabazz who was knowledgeable and friendly!

Low-key x high quality. I love that this casual wine bar actually creates and crafts cocktails with care... there's a focus on great ingredients and spirits. (I prefer hanging at the bar upstairs). The courtyard is a great place to gather with friends and listen to live music while enjoying a variety of cheeses or any number of shareables (I highly recommend the whole fish) and an amazing selection of wines.

Bacchanal was an incredible part of our wedding day! Carolina and team made the entire experience seamless- the attention to detail and warmth were unmatched. Food was outstanding, with every dish beautifully prepared (the beet salad had endless rave reviews). Their bar service was equally impressive, with craft cocktails that added a special touch. We’ve also dined at their restaurant and love the vibrant atmosphere and service. Highly recommend for events and dining!
