We had the backspace burger, pulled pork sandwich, and brussel sprouts. The drinks were strong. Everything was fantastic but days later and I'm still thinking about those brussel sprouts.

I went to the Backspace Bar & Kitchen after getting in on a later flight and ordered a beer and shrimp po'boy. It was a super chill night - I was just one of a few folks in there around 8PM. The beer was wonderful, the bartender was so nice, and the whole vibe was just what I needed after a stressful day of travel. The shrimp po'boy was really good - really well seasoned and balanced nicely with fresh, crisp veggies and pickles.

Obviously this place is a dive. If you want a chill place to get bar food that is not all Creole or NOLA, come here. This is excellent food that you could find at the best pub in your town. Open late late late.

I'm sad that I only found this place on my last day. Best french fries in the quarter (and I tried a lot of them)! Fun and helpful bartender with a great playlist.

Definitely fits the dive bar aesthetic with inexpensive drinks and food. Simple menu with burgers, sandwiches and fries. Good place to catch a game and have a beer.

Fantastic spot. Super nice staff and great prices drinks.

Pulled porked fries were fantastic; great portion size! Had the Avitator & the Bogart 75 cocktails. Both were splendid gin concoctions! Then topped it off with a couple Jucifer IPAs (Gnarley Barley out of Hammond, LA).
