A well curated selection of great books! I got an iced latte and enjoyed it and a croissant. We went after lunch and were sad they were almost sold out of all their snacks, but that’s just something that happens some days! I stayed and wrote for a while and wished I could’ve stayed longer

Great shop where you can also get some very good books with really good coffee. A visit is worth it! No matter what coffee I didn't find one that I didn't like.

Baldwin & Co. is an absolute gem in New Orleans! From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of this Black-owned bookstore. The selection of books is outstanding—thoughtfully curated and representing diverse voices, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Beyond the books, the space itself is stunning. Whether you’re browsing through the shelves, grabbing a drink from the café, or enjoying a pastry while reading in one of the cozy indoor or outdoor seating areas, you’ll find it hard to leave. It’s the perfect spot to relax, read, and soak in the literary energy.

We were excited to support a Black-owned business, and Baldwin & Co. exceeded our expectations in every way. The customer service was fantastic, and we were so impressed that we even created an account. We’ll most definitely be back! If you’re in New Orleans, this bookstore is a must-visit. Highly recommended! 📚✨
