DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE. I went for dinner and music with my family. We wanted to try the local cuisine and listen to New Orlean’s jazz. We had to seat ourselves and we waited 30 minutes for them to clear our table from the food and mess of the previous guests. No one gave us a menu. We approached several wait staff who were running around but we were intentionally ignored. We waited another 20 minutes and then got up and left. On my way out, I spoke with the manager. She apologized and told me they didn’t have enough servers and they were slammed. I told her that’s not my problem. We were so disappointed. It ruined our entire evening.

Waitress was really insistent that we buy drinks, came back 3 times in 5 minutes while we were trying to decide what we wanted. When we ordered, it took 15+ minutes to get our two very simple drinks. During which time the band we were listening to finished so we got our drinks at the start of a 30+ minute band break. Took another 15+ minutes to get the check (gave her my card as soon as she brought the drinks, even though she don't have the check ready). She basically said that she had forgotten which table we were. Also $25+ for two drinks, nothing fancy. It was a Monday afternoon, not peak time. Chill with the high pressure sales if your bar (and waitress) can't keep up.

Seemed like me and my girlfriend would've had a fun time here, but after waiting 20 and receiving no service, we decided to venture elsewhere on Frenchmen St.

The musicians were fantastic, however, so our wait was a groovy one.

great service. however, the owner needs to hire more people because it is borderline inhumane to the workers to be doing this ridiculous job. i would love to come back if the workers had been treated with more dignity and less pressure to fill 5 roles.

Easy NOLA vibe, with live jazz all day and the food was amazing!
Frozen strawberry daiquiris and frozen margaritas ($12/16oz) were great too.
We had the GIANT pretzel w/cheese, gumbo, sausage jambalaya, fried okra and muffuletta sliders.

Atmosphere was great. But I can't get over how terrible the service was. Couldn't split a table check. Wasn't able to give me an itemized check. Waitress got upset because I didn't leave her a tip because her service was awful. Slow to get me a menu. Slow to get me my drink after telling her three times. Overall absolutely awful place. Band was good, believe they were called Three Fingers. Would not recommend.

The rice for the gumbo was very hard and undercooked, seemed rushed. I asked for them to take it back and asked for a refund. They told me couldn’t exchange or take it back. So was forced to pay 20 dollars for a meal I didn’t like. When I asked for a to-go container, they ran out. Very tacky. Would not reccomend and won’t be back.
