This is a cool place to go on a Saturday night. The atmosphere and vibe was exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend this spot. Great place to take your significant other to get a few drinks and hang out.Parking: There are parking meters in the area that are free after 7pm. There's also a paid parking lot across the street.

Seemed like a cool spot. Given it's a Wednesday night didn't expect much, thankfully. They had lots of taps but nothing was hooked up. They had domestic and "imported" beers in the coolers. Didn't have any food so can't speak to that. This is not the place if you are looking for some decent beer. Given the lack of on tap beers my experience was fine. Just nothing to write home about.

I'm always passing this place up cause I'm usually on my way to work when I see it. But today I decided to see why they are always crowded! It's a cute arcade bar that has outside games and some arcade games near the bar area. This is def a pregame spot where the drinks are farely cheap and sitting right under a parking deck. And blocks away from bourbon st

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We ordered food and drinks. Drinks were okay but they messed up our ENTIRE food order. Subsidized our food WITHOUT asking us & brought it out like nothing was wrong. The entire staff was entirely rude, on their phones and did not even try to make up for their mistakes. The smart remarks and the eye rolling is UNNECESSARY. 100% WILL NOT ever come back. Such an unprofessional place for the service industry. Severely disappointing.

A super fun bar with tons of music that everyone loves to to visit at least twice a year if not more! They also do have actual working arcade game so if you want to find something to do while you're waiting for friends or just passed the time this is a good place for that as well.

Burger looked small and I was bummed initially after dishing out the price... BUT it's 2 patties and SO GOOD. I'd easy vote this one of the best burgers in town. I'd drive from Kenner for this ?We were there on a parade day and it was a perfect lunch while we waited.

Food is FANTASTIC!! Not only is the environment great but our bar tender (Vicky) was great. She helped us by giving great insite into local attraction and bars/clubs to visit. Over all, would highly recommend this place. GO DURING HAPPY HOUR!!!

We sat here for the big parade. The staff was nice, the drinks were good. It was quite fun.

It may be carnival season, but they should still treat all customers the same. Just because I wasn’t purchasing alcohol a little less attitude would have been nice when I went to place an order at the bar. The rude bartender pushes food menu at me saying I need to order it online because she can’t help me. It wasn’t even busy at the time. Then when I go to to pick up the order, I’m sent to the end of the bar. There I have to deal with a security guy who’s rushing me to get all my stuff together while I’m checking my order. I told him I was missing ranch for the chicken tenders and he said he was gonna have to see some money if I wanted any. If I was sitting in the bar I may have gotten better service!

This bar is great! You can play games and do other entertaining stuff besides just sit and talk. Pours are great, got a pour of bourbon and couldn't manage another drink, not the first stop of the night, but this was definitely the last after that!

Partied hard. Drinks were priced like downtown Nola so that's whatever but the atmosphere was great. They have a good mix of games and dance space. #vibes

Victoria, our bartender, was great! My wife and I love spicy food. We almost ordered their spiciest wings, but Victoria warned us. She suggested we get the regular hot wings, with the spicy seasoning on the side. Would have liked some beers on tap. They have over 10 taps, and all of them were empty. Food was delicious! Took a little extra time considering how busy it was, but well worth it! Crispy fries and crispy breaded wings. Will definitely be back when we’re in town.

Pre pandemic we loved this place. Great food and a bunch of arcade games. Was excited to go back again but the food was incredibly salty. I can tolerate a lot of salt but I only ate half my meal. The hot chicken wasnt spicy AT ALL!And they have a third of the arcade games they used to have!Doubt we'll ever go back.

Sunday Funday, now with out the fun! Awful vibes, terrible service, sticky and expensive video games. Literally every bar was packed for the games on Sunday except for this one, and for good reason. Walls are covered in GameDay drink specials, I guess MLB, MLS playoffs and NFL games aren't considered GameDay. Take down the Sunday Funday sign, there's no fun to be found at Barcadia.

While on our trip to NOLA we were looking up fun places to go and we found Barcadia. As avid video game nerds we were excited to check out a bar that is also an arcade. We were somewhat letdown or did not quite understand what the location was actually supposed to be. This place has bouncers and you are unable to bring in outside alcohol (which sounds normal but in NOLA, it was common practice). They also required you to have an ID, which as stated earlier, sounds normal but is not common in any of the places we went in NOLA.You walk in and its basically a nightclub with about 5 standup arcade machines, 1-2 claw machines, 2 large scale games (connect 4), and that was it. The games only took up probably 1/5th of the actual building. The rest was a bunch of dance floors, VIP lounges and a bar. There was a outside section for seating but they had these LED signs that were so bright you couldn't be out there for more than 3 minutes without going blind. If you are looking for a nightclub, this is your place. If you're looking for a chill place to drink and play arcade games, after about 10 minutes the place becomes a bit of a letdown.
