We had a great time. Sangria, garlic shrimp, lamp chop, potatoes were awesome. Have to come back for the Paella

Now this place has a special place in my heart 🌹 it's nothing fancy but it can be romantic and cozy. Here is the best part it's all authentic Spanish tapas. The food is excellent and the service is nice! Nice work chef!

My absolute favorite restaurant in New Orleans. I bring all of my out of town friends and family here when they visit. The Sangria is the best that I have ever had and the food is top notch. Just be prepared to pay in cash and would recommend coming around when they open.

A truly magical night at this hidden gem in New Orleans: @barcelonatapas_nola. Every bite was a delight! Chef Laurentino’s humble, kind spirit made the experience even more special. We absolutely loved it! 🇪🇸✨

Chef is genius! He is warm and friendly and helped us with ordering when he thought we
had too much for the four of us. Paella, tomato bread, garlic shrimp pasta, cheese, potato tart, lamb chops were all perfect. Sangria was light and tasty.

Barcelona Tapas was a fantastic oasis in New Orleans. A search for tapas produced several places. Looking at the menus, Barcelona was a bargain and a little out of the tourist area. Xavier's (owner and chef) story is touching, and the food reflects his commitment to simple and delicious dishes. Don't skip the Sangria either. His Tortilla España was phenomenal, as we're the cremini mushrooms diabla, and the calamari. Highly, highly recommend dinner in this cozy restaurant.

What a wonderful restaurant! The owner is from Barcelona and provides absolutely amazing food fresh from the kitchen straight to the table. It is a unique experience as the owner does everything. Do yourself a favor and come before he retires.

The paella is the best I can remember. Garlic shrimp was great also. I also liked the Barcelona style ceviche. And I can recommend the flan.
Price was reasonable.
I'll go back.
