If you like waiting to order in the heat, eating in the heat, very overpriced and very small portions, expensive small skinny cokes in a bottom that are warm by the time your food comes, then hell yeah, eat here. I dont. I got my money back as soon as they brought that BS out to my table.

My fav place in New Orleans to get tacos! Outdoor seating is comfortable and dog-friendly. Food and drinks are delicious every time! You must try the crispy fish tacos!

I don’t think it was worth the hype. Tried the broccoli taco…I was expecting just a little ‘more’. Felt like just roasted broccoli in a taco. While the pork taco was flavorful, it was very wet. Like making the tortilla damp and dripping out wet. The shining star were the margaritas and the corn in a cup. It was fairly busy but waited in line for 10 and maybe 12 for food. Everything was fairly priced. Would I go back? Maybe. Just wouldn’t be my top place to choose to bring out of towners or drive more than 10 minutes to get to.

Food was great! The only thing that was not ideal was eating outside in the heat.

We were looking for a quick lunch and came across this great Taco stand . The Seafood Taco was the hit in our group followed closely by the Pork Taco i recommend having them made as deluxe lots of good stuff added. The Margaritas were equally refreshing on a hot day. Costs were fair Tacos ranging in price from $3.50-$5.00 . They do have a 2nd location in NOLA if driving to Bay St Louis is to far.

I used to love barracuda but after the service (or lack thereof I got tonight) I will not be back. I came to get a to-go order, just for chips and salsa. The line was very long when I arrived and when I walked up to the pickup counter they said it would be ready in 10 mins. I got the text that it was being packed up 20 mins later. But then proceeded to wait another 40 mins. At the 1.10 hour mark I left and will not be back. I could tell that they were busy, but the staff repeatedly giving me a made up number when I checked in both times was not helpful. The whole order was chips and dip. Which should never take over an hour to be ready. We saw people stand in line, sit down, eat and leave. People that arrived after our order. We NEVER saw our order of chips and dips.
Update: Barracuda management was so helpful in resolving this issue! They were very personable and polite when reaching out. I updated my stars based on customer service and will be back to try Barracuda again. Thanks to the Barracuda team!!

We stopped in at Barracuda Tchoupitoulas for late-ish nibbles Saturday night. Our first time. I got the chicken and fish tacos, hold the onion. Husband got beef deluxe and pork tacos. Friend got pork and the special with shishito peppers. We shared the queso and chips. Drinks were a margarita and a Paloma. And a warm Modelo. Friend’s food came out very quickly, along with the queso. Our order took a long time (15-20 minutes).
Definitely tasty tacos. Husband wished he’d held the raw onion because it was a.lot. We all enjoyed the food. Drinks were only ok. The meal was not very expensive. Cute patio, lots of seating. Cool in the late evening. Will definitely return.
