Amazing! So so good! We had a chicken taco, fish taco, side of onions, cheese quesadilla, and the 3 dips with chips. Everything was fresh and tasty! Definitely a must after eating jambalaya, gumbo, and po boys for 3 days! The ferry and walking Algiers was also a nice get away from the crowds.

Disappointed and no longer worth itThis was one of my favorite places to go- been coming here for years (even during covid) brought friends in and took the ferry over so they could try this amazing taco place…. Only to be shocked and disappointed… I’m posting 2 pictures 1 with how their tacos usually are/used to be and the other with what I got today. MUCH smaller tortilla with less than half meat and toppings. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT - NO LONGER WORTH $5 or the $3 to get over here

stopped by to grab a quick snack, and got the crispy fish taco with pickled red onions. it was the best taco I've ever had. I will be going back.tried the chicken bowl, it was good but not great. the fish tacos are by far better. spicy margarita and strawberry margarita are both tasty and refreshing. the guacamole and queso (spicy w/ chorizo) are both fantastic as well. the salsa is very good with a nice spicy kick. but man, those fish tacos cannot be beat. pickled red onions cost extra but are a must.

This place is basically the reason we went to Algiers. That and my husband wanted to take the ferry. Multiple people on Reddit suggested it, and I love tacos! We ordered 2 margaritas, a chicken beef, and mushroom taco, and all were amazing. As well as chips and queso. The c green creamy salsa was super delicious and probably my ffapvirte part, and everything tastes so fresh. When you order the drinks are ready almost instantly but they give you a number for your table and they come find you and bring you the food which is a nice and efficient system. They were super fast. It's basically all outdoor sitting. Just under a tent or under the stars. We opted for under the stars since it was so lovely out. It was a great experience.

This taco stand was within walking distance of our Airbnb. I tried a fish taco and a deluxe chicken taco, my husband had the same but added a pork taco. The kids had the kid combo and we had guacamole, queso and salsa for our chips. Everything was so delicious and fresh tasting. The limeade was a great refreshing drink on a hot day.

This was probably my 25th time here in the last year which should explain my five star rating. Barracuda is my favorite taco spot in New Orleans and it hits EVERY TIME. I've tried every taco on the menu, the queso, salsa and margaritas are amazing. I love the atmosphere of the location in Algiers! They have great music and plenty of seating and the service is always really nice. They go above and beyond for their customers for sure. If you're visiting New Orleans it's a must try and if you live in the city and haven't gone to barracuda yet SHAME ON YOU! haha I promise you'll be hooked. Thank me later

So Im a local Algerian. Anything Algiers I am automatically crazy about. Seeing my old stomping grounds coming back to life, better than ever. This taco stand occupies a looonnnggg since abandoned gas station and they did a smashing job bringing it to life as a new provider! If left to my own devices, I will eat here 3-4 times a week. Im slowing chopping down the menu and I haven't run into a bum choice yet. Happy hours has some great drink prices and food specials. The seating is outdoors but remains intimate. Kid and pet friendly. Servers behind the window and that come out to bring your food are spot are awesome friendly. Food comes out pretty fast too. When the weather is awesome, as I am writing this, is perfect evening dining. There is fans for the summer and propane heaters for the chilly nights. There is a playground directly across the street and plenty of on street parking. Man, I kinda want to eat there again tonight. Oh yea, if you are familiar with the uptown location and don't feel like waiting in a line, this is the one to visit!

Honestly some of the best food we had on our trip to New Orleans. We used our street car pass to ride the ferry and found this outdoor lunch while exploring the area. The service was great and sitting outside at their picnic tables on a pretty day was literally heaven. Their tacos were fun and different and their hibiscus tea was something I wish I could drink every day haha. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Vegetarian options: They have a fun broccoli taco that my family loved!!

This place is a local favorite and our AIRBNB was in the neighborhood, so we stopped by. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Lots of locals about with dogs and kids. The food was incredible. I really liked the fish taco and mushroom taco. Highly recommend you try this place if you are in the Algiers Point neighborhood, which is a ferry ride away from Jackson Square, so worth the walk!!

Awesome little taco stand and patio in the heart of Algiers Point. Everything was on point: Michelada, Catfish Taco, salsa, guacamole, and queso all great. Let me just say that this was the hottest Michelada I’ve ever had and it was delicious! Nice place to hang out with friends. This Texan gives it ?????.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed our tacos and with friends. Nice change of pace from the norm of New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and get at least 2 different tacos for your meal. You won't be disappointed!!!

Such a cute little place hidden in the point! Love that it's delicious and within walking distance of the office. Staff was friendly and service was quick even on a taco Tuesday which had me worried but we had more than enough time on our lunch break. They're crazy fast.

So glad we went out of the Quarter and ate here one day during our visit. Great food, fresh margaritas and such a cute patio area. I got the pork taco, cup of street corn and we ordered chips and queso. All great! Will definitely be back when we come back to NOLA!
