We walked here from our Airbnb and were amazed by the dark (as in lighting) casual atmosphere and the collection of whiskies. I now tell all my friends about this place if they are going to 'Orleans and this is my go-to place when visiting. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about whiskies and they definitely enjoyed talking about them. For price per person, I put down $100+ because we sat for a good while drinking many a dram with friends; I found the prices per dram to be acceptable.

Micheal was an outstanding bartender. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient, even during busy moments. His drink recommendations were excellent, and every cocktail was made perfectly. Okay Listen, Molly is incredible. Not only is she the BEST bartender but she’s the BEST DJ via tablet- and she’s got moves to go with it. We enjoyed her smile, her service and her hospitality. Honestly, just give her a raise. We will be back, but back for Molly.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite bar in New Orleans. They can get pretty slammed on weekends, of course, but the weekdays are where they really shine in my opinion. The bar becomes much more personal. I’ve met so many interesting people. The bartenders are top notch. The happy hour is great. The single barrel sazerac is my favorite, the whiskey and a shot for $10 is a great deal, but the happy hour old fashioned is definitely my go-to because of price and quality. You will not find a better $6 old fashioned. You will not find a better bar in the city.

I was so excited by a bar that supposedly has a legit whisky menu. They do not, it is completely show. I ordered 4 single malts they were out of each. The bartenders can pour a beer, but have no knowledge of whiskey. If you want a general beer bar, pull up and order a pbr, if you are a. Discerning whiskey drinker look elsewhere.
