It's hardly a restaurant, more like booths by the bar. The only staff was a bartender who doubled as a waiter. We were the only restaurant customers and the bar was not crowded but our food was tepid when it arrived.

Service was off- the bartender appeared to be the one who was supposed to be the one would take the orders at the tables as well as be bartending all at the same time. We were on a time table as we were going to a show so I had to ask for someone to come and take my order as it did not appear that we were going to have someone come any time soon. Ordered the chargrilled oysters and they were not very good so disappointed. Also, an incorrect item was sent to our table. So, I had to wait longer to get my meal. However, the manager and the bartender both came to apologize and I was not charged the higher amount for the meal that I had originally ordered- that was very nice!

Best beignets in town. Better than any I’ve had. Felipe behind the bar was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He went out of his way to get me a cafe aulait even though the coffee shop was closed.

I ordered the Biscuits and Tasso Gravy and the Retro Southern Sammy. Both were good, but the sandwich was just a sandwich. If I had to choose between the two I would order the biscuits and gravy. The sandwich uses the same biscuit as the other entree. It’s very soft and moist. I would probably order the biscuits and gravy again and top it with a couple of scrambled eggs.

Our server was incredibly rude. He made a point of expressing his distaste for the way my daughter ordered her burger. He tried to remove drinks we were still drinking and food we were still eating. His question was “you done?”. The entire experience with this ride unhappy man was awful. He actuality slid into my booth while my daughter and her friend were in the bathroom to retrieve a glass. Shocked to look up from my phone and see this awful man across from me. I could go on but...

FOOD IS AMAZING! My group of 6 ordered different drinks & food and all enjoyed everything we ordered! Very fun drinks & excellent food! The atmosphere was very quiet other than the live music! Service was amazing! So amazing!! We recommend!!
