I know it's a bar inside a hotel but this place is worth a visit! The drink menu is so creative and the drinks are absolutely delicious! Love their comfy seating.

We were staying the hotel and came down at 8:30 to eat. First there was a sign saying that a section was closed and to see the bar for service. So we asked where to sit if we wanted to eat. The bartender said wherever we liked. So we found a table and waited. 15 minutes later no one had come over so I asked a different bartender and he said he would send someone over. I saw him talk to a server and point at us but no one came over. Another 20 minutes and we thought maybe we were in the wrong space. We saw a manager setting up a table and asked if we could sit there. He said he was setting it up for someone and I told him we had been waiting for a while for someone to come over. He saw where we were sitting and said that wasn’t a usual table but he would send someone over. Finally had a server come over. Took our order and all. An hour later we still didn’t have any food. The server came and told us the kitchen was backed up and asked for our patience. Another 30 minutes later we finally got one part of the meal and the rest followed 10 minutes later. I ordered red beans with fried pork chops. The pork chops were great but the red beans and rice were stone cold. No one came back by for another 20 minutes. When the server did come and we told him what was wrong he was apologetic and asked what he could do to fix it. By that point it was very late and we just said we wanted the check. He got us a 30% discount at least. But I would definitely not recommend it.

Acudí a cena de fin de año el servicio estuvo bien, la comida rica pero no cuenta con muchas mesas, es más ambiente de bar; ya que está ubicado en el lobby de un hotel. pero en general esta aceptable.

As we entered the hotel, the area was full of people naturally, it was New Year's Eve. There was no one to whom you could address yourself to find out where your table was.the one person who we spoke to did not speak in English, so he was of no use to us. Finally someone at the bar found our table. Service was OK. They tried very hard but I feel like they were overwhelmed. My husband‘s order was a cup of gumbo and a shrimp and grits plate. Mine was a salad and the steak frites. They brought my husband's starter and entrée to the table at the same time and they brought my salad with all of that and then it took fully 20 minutes to get my entrée out to me and by that time my husband was finished with his now cold entree. They're gonna have to do better if they're going to hold big events I'm guessing this is good for small events, but not for New Year's Eve.

Truly, an awful experience! We made reservations and arrived, and unfortunately were not served until an hour and a half after we had been seated. Then the management made multiple excuses, and after finally being served the dinner was cold! We were apologized to over and over but unfortunately it did not make up for the terrible experience and time lost! The saddest thing was that the food was somewhat good! Too bad it was two hours late, cold and the rice was under cooked.

Stopped by for the Christmas popup and it was incredible! They did a fantastic job decorating and sticking on the theme of drinks that sleigh. I had the Ninja Gingerbread Old Fashioned and Santa's Sleigh and both were incredibly tasty and visually stunning. My partner also had a drink that I can't remover the name of but was serves in an upside down Christmas tree mug which was also tasty. We were there at happy hour and they gave free bar snacks and mulled wine as well. The staff were friendly and made incredible drinks. I had never heard of this bar before probably because it's in a hotel but it's on my radar now and I will be back.

The food was really good and our server Douglas was excellent. However, after our meal we were not allowed to use the restrooms! The lady on reception was quite rude when we asked and told us the public restrooms were locked. I explained we were paying customers who had just finished out meal and now needed to use the restroom and they would not open them for us!! I've never ever experienced paying customers not being allowed to use the facilities!

This is a hotel bar that has a menu. The bar was busy but the “restaurant” had only two tables our 9 top and a 2 top. The service was terrible had to physically track down our server to get drink refills, food came out 3 entrees at a time and the time between was in excess of 30 min. When it did come out it was over cooked and dry. They should not take reservations, nor advertise as a restaurant!

Stopped in for some food before a flight and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The place itself is very nice and I'm sure the hotel is also but we just stopped at the bar. I had a espresso martini, which wasn't the best one I've had but I have had many and it wasn't the worst either lol. Ordered a burger (and was asked how I wanted it cooked , med rare) with deviled eggs appetizer. My gf ordered some egg rolls and a Flatbread. Everything was very good. The prices are what you would expect for the area. I would definitely eat here again and might even check out the hotel. ?

Craft cocktails are hotel prices ($$14-17/drink)… but flavorful.

Our usual visit for the Red Dres runs Aug 2023, but an unusual visit to a place we normally don't travel to, Hyatt Centric Holmes. We seemed to walk into the hotel lobby. The place was practically empty, with few at the bar. Service was non-existent, the Bar server helped us. We were there for the coolinary menu and they did have anything as advertised. Food was okay, but below average for the French quarter. Not recommended.
