One of the most authentic, down to earth places that you could visit for both good food and good company! Will, our server is a warm, kind-hearted and lively individual that will not bs or oversell you on anything. He recommended us the gumbo, seafood fettuccine, and our new favourite drink— the Bayou Splash. Wish we took better photos because they really don’t do the place any justice!! Got to meet Lewis the chef there as well, he’s the man behind all the DELICIOUS food....
Food was absolutely delicious! We had the fried oysters and the shrimp fettuccine, so good! Will, our server was delightful, so friendly and attentive and gave us excellent recommendations, made us feel right at home! 10/10 will come back.
I'm never disappointed when I visit New Orleans. My first stop is always Bayou Bistro. The food is always seasoned to perfection and served with great customer service from our server. I've experienced the crab cakes, seafood dip, catfish, gumbo, mac and cheese, and potatoes. ALL Amazing. If you are in NOLA, do yourself a favor and check them out.
