Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣).
Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!

Food was good it hit the spot. Bacon blue cheese burger was outstanding 😋 Service was excellent above and beyond 👌 Atmosphere was great, few bar stool seating indoors and 2 outdoor picnic tables.

I finally gave this place a try today after scoping it out for a minute! I got a 10 piece wing with 2 sauces. I got the Garlic Butter Parmesan and the Bayou Hotboy... First off, that GBP was pure heaven from the butter to the garlic to the fresh parmesan melted on top!! Those flavors came together beautifully!!!! The BH had a good flavor as well. It was medium with just a small hint of spice. The ranch dipping sauce was good, too. I'll definitely geaux back!!

Absolutely delicious wings!! We got the bayou sweet heat and the bayou hotboy flavors and they were incredible :)
Their ranch is homemade and very good. I loved the bleu cheese dressing too :)

Just one but important point to make - Salt - can be used to preserve food or enhance the flavor of food. Definitely don't need to preserve the onion rings. When the salt overpowers the sweetness of the onion, it really leaves a bad ring. Don't know if it's a premix batter or an inhouse blend, but definitely cut back the salt by, hmmm - 90%. The wings were (hot Buffalo Wings) were acceptable. The thin Blue Cheese lacking any real cheese nor blue.

my first time here and read all reviews some good some bad but decided to take a try great experience. yes the wings were small but almost everyone,s are these days. the fry was great had some wings with no sauce just to test. sauses were good. the buffalo shrimp were great. management was very flexable with drums vs flats aver all great night out

My boyfriend and I ordered the cajun and lemon pepper wings with fries. Food was amazing, my boyfriend loved it. The breading on the wings are really crispy and the seasoning was perfect. The service was good, quick and the guy at the front was very nice. We ate in, the little bar area they had was small, but we made it work. We forgot to take a picture of our food because we were too busy digging in, but we do have a time lapse of us eating.
Seems like the food was old 😕 shrimp was smelly and fishy,, chicken was old and dark in color. Cook had an attitude, seems like The only good thing about this place is the guy taking your order with the glasses!

The best wings in town. You have to try the bayou beast flavor if you love spicy wing sauce. It’s so hard to find good quality wings with excellent spicy sauce. Way better than mid wing stop
