Great space, staff, and atmosphere. The potatoes are divine. Really delicious lattes. The vegan pancakes are amazing!!
I got the vegan bearcat and it was so good! The potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the good cat options aren’t super healthy, but this is a worthwhile indulgence.
Typical American breakfast with large portions (we took away and tasted very good day after), salty and greasy. Good vegan options. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-20
The menu was very clear and options were almost endless as you could substitute tofu or just eggs. This was also the best coffee we had on our trip. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-14
Food and service for 2 was great. I felt hijacked by the mandatory tip and employee fund charge. As a business, you are making an assumption about whether or not we will tip, which is unwelcome and inhospitable. When you line item your payroll on the bill, it makes you look like you're not taking care of your people or providing the funds needed for their assistance. We have had amazing food and service all over this city, and so happy to tip. Only your place left a bad aftertaste.
I a million percent recommend the pancakes!!!!
The atmosphere was loud and overstimulating inside. Because of this, they sat us outside upstairs. Beautiful views.
Get the breakfast potatoes with packed eggs, you won’t regret it 🤤
Hillary took really good care of the 6 of us.
Would love to keep this place as part of my hidden gem list but it’s too good not to share. Please get the Cat Daddy because it’s sooooo good - the crawfish gravy and hot chicken go so well together with the biscuit. I’m drooling thinking about it and can’t wait to be back! The scallop dish was alright because Cat Daddy has stolen all the limelight 😅
Absolutely delicious?!

The food and service was phenomenal!! I highly recommend if you're in the area.
Everything is super, super slow here. Long waitlist, at least an hour. And after another 45 minutes after you ordered, you still haven’t seen your food. This place is noisy too. And they charge 3% credit card fee, plus mandatory 20% tip for any party of two or more.
Not recommended. Don’t waste your time here.
This place was great enough that we ate here twice in one weekend! So I got to try both the vegan biscuit sandwich and breakfast burrito - both excellent, but I'd recommend the sando for a little more unique New Orleans flavor! The venue is lovely whether you sit inside or on the back patio. That also means you shouldn't be be put off by lines out the door - once we checked in, the wait went quickly!
So many vegan options it’s refreshing! Especially as a tourist looking for a good breakfast in the city. Lots to pick from including classics like biscuits. Enjoyed it so much went back to try more. The mushroom toast was a little ‘oily’ and the biscuit perhaps a little salty but probably because U.K. tourists so we are not used to that much in our food. Great coffee - specially with refills!
I got a chai latte, crispy potatoes, tofu scrambled eggs and a sausage patty. Very tasty! The potatoes were so great and the patty tasted like it was made in house.
