The best meal I've ever had in my life. I could not recommend this place more. We went on a week day to get bunch. There wasn't much of a wait we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely divine.

Friday 3.29.24. Opens at 8am and was promptly greeted and asked did we want to sit inside or outside on the beautiful patio out back. We sat on the patio since weather was nice this time of year. When we left the place was packed and it was a line so I recommened going when they open. They do fresh juices, teas, and lemonades. We tried the mango lemonade it was very fresh and good. It was 6.00 for about a snapple bottle sized bottle.Food originally order the steak and eggs special around 24.00. The steak was cooked well but did not have any seasoning. The breakfast potatoes were very good and good seasoning . Eggs bland. My daughter got the Cat Daddy and I tasted hers and asked to switch to that instead. The server gave excellent service and switched out my meal and apologized and was kind about it. She made sure we were ok multiple times. When we ordered she asked did we have an dietary restrictions or allergies which is a nice choice. They also have lots of options for coffee beyond just milk like almond milk soy and coconut milk. They also have regular butter and vegan butter.Ok so my new entree comes out the Cat Daddy. Its delicious. It is crawfish gravy with a homemade biscuit on top . A breaded chicken boneless chicken breast and on top more crawfish gravy. Also on top an egg whatever style you want. The biscuit was the bomb. The chicken breading is seasoned and cooked well. The gravy is just in the middle not bland but not over seasoned...if someone prefers more salty stuff it's right in the middle so you can easily sprinkle some on. They give plenty crawfish tails in the sauce so they dont skimp. The eggs I got scrambled and they are bland but I ate them with the sauce and some of the crawfish tails so made it better. Overall dishes 4 out of 5 i took off one for the eggs.I definitely recommend this place.Dietary restrictions: Serve asked was there are dietary restrictions or allergies which was a nice touch.

The wait for Saturday brunch, around 11:00 AM, was an OBSCENE 1.25 hours. However, once we made it inside, the food was stupendous. We had Mimosas to drink. Tasty. The double stack of pancakes with bacon was perfect. Wife had the chicken biscuit along with the breakfast potatoes and fruit bowl. All very good and presented well. She had a strawberry lemonade that was very fresh. Even with the wait time, I'd give 'em a shot.

If there’s one thing that this restaurant did….its that! I got the cat daddy and I literally and figuratively licked my plate clean. 4 + 4 = ATE and that’s exactly what I did here! Highly HIGHLY recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

Best meal we had in New Orleans! Waited an hour (Friday brunch) but it was worth it, and the service was exceptional even though they were extremely busy. Always refreshing to have so many vegan/vegetarian options, theyve got something for everybody. We recommend the Cat Daddy, the rancheros and the breakfast potatoes. The rancheros were the best I've ever had.

All around great experience. Incredible food, solid cocktails, and great service. If you have a chance, put your name in ahead of time and they will text you when the table is ready.

This has to be one of if not the best breakfast I’ve had at a breakfast joint. I ordered the brisket Scramble and it comes with eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were crispy and so tasty, the brisket was tender, and the egg was cooked to my liking. The pancake was also very good but i will always be thinking of the brisket scramble. 10/10

Had brunch here just on a whim passing by. Food was great, really liked their potatoes. Good options for seafood, vegetarian or vegan. Food took longer than we liked but still a good find. Popular place so expect a wait.

This was one of my top places to eat in New Orleans! We came for brunch on a Wednesday and there was about an hour wait which was fine. We killed time by going over to the Bearcat bakery for drinks (highly recommend the strawberry matcha drink). Bearcat had so many delicious vegan options! I got the Vegan Bearcat with a side of vegan blueberry pancakes and I can’t remember the last time I had a vegan brunch this good. The tofu scramble was delicious, the black bean sausages were smoky, and the breakfast potatoes were perfectly salty and crispy! The stack of 2 pancakes was huge and they came out hot and fluffy (my non vegan husband helped me with them and really enjoyed them too). Our server Blake was great, checking in frequently and keeping our waters filled. We sat outside on the patio which was a great atmosphere on a nice sunny day. I highly recommend Bearcat for great food that is well worth the wait and I hope to eat here again.
