My husband and I had one of the best experiences at a restaurant in recent here at Beggar’s Banquet. Not only was the food just stunning, they went above and beyond in helping us celebrate our gender reveal on our anniversary. They surprised us with a sweet little pink bouquet during our meal - it’s a girl! The service was perfect (thank you Bea for a wonderful evening) and the ambiance is laidback and cool, yet still very romantic. We shared the smoked redfish dip with fried capers and the fried green tomatoes with burrata to start, both fantastic options, but I wish I had a second stomach to try more starters as well. My husband enjoyed his mushroom gnocchi but the star of our meal was the potato crusted halibut served with mushrooms and whipped potatoes. We CLEANED that plate. We finished the evening with the bananas foster crème brûlée, and it was as good as it sounds. Absolutely stunning meal and evening. Cannot wait for our next visit!

The food is excellent and the drinks are next level. The “Creole” drink was wonderful!! Looks pricey on the menu but totally understandable and worth it when you get your food and taste it. Dessert was great too. Made for a wonderful sit down experience rather than just another fancy meal.

The food and service were both good. The problem is we were sat next to the AC vent. It was so cold we were shivering and our food got cold so quickly because an ice cold wind was blowing on us nonstop. Bring a jacket in case you are sat by the AC.

10/10 recommend. I came in for a brunch date and had an amazing experience. The service was excellent. The decor is upscale but comfortable and inviting. The food will blow you away. I had the scallops with crab hash and it’s legit one of the best brunch items I’ve had this year. Can’t say enough good things about this place and I’ll be back.

Service was great. Food was good but not necessarily memorable. We were one of the last tables seated and sat next to a large party in the mezzanine area next to the kitchen. It was very loud. Rest of the restaurant emptied out and it was just our two parties. Killed the vibe.
Everything was great food, service atmosphere. Bottom floor so should be handicap accessible. Portions were large. Definitely recommend. Parking on street.

I had a chance Sunday to go have brunch here. Let me tell you everything was great it was 3 of us and we shared multiple things from the menu and also had 2-3 drinks each our sever Eden was outstanding and the owner was wonderful to talk as well everything was divine. This just may be our new little spot.
