Delicious food, tasty drinks… and to top it off, the staff was so lovely to my toddler.

Gluten free muffin was very good. Is there a reason why you don’t use the stack of mugs above the espresso machine and instead hand out paper and plastic cups even when the order is explicitly “for here”? I was really disappointed to see this kind of wastefulness.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Y'all. This is THE place. Out of all the spots we tried while in New Orleans, this was by far the best and our favorite! I loved their grits and what they had to offer dessert-wise. I tell any of my friends who are visiting NOLA that they will always find a tourist restaurant around any corner, but they'll only need to find this place once to know they struck gold. My only regret was not coming back a second time before we flew out!

They made a beautiful birthday cake for my wife. Very easy to work with and high quality cakes.

I had my heart set on having a King Cake for Mardi Gras this year during our visit. I found this bakery online and they allowed me to place an order despite their ordering deadline being over. They were so very kind on the phone when I placed my order. It was ready on time and absolutely delicious. So happy I found this place and will definitely be ordering again the next time I visit NOLA

Absolutely amazing food, such yummy desserts, and attentive, helpful and friendly staff! I had the NOLA style roast beef debris- it was outstanding! My husband had the andouille sausage omelet, and he said it has fantastic spicy sausage. Definitely a great place to visit. Highly recommend!

Delicious, well-balanced cold brew. Gouda grits were outstanding, as was the spinach and feta croissant. Breakfast potatoes were tasty, just not a standout like the other items.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! The cakes, coffee and cocktails are perfection. Cheryl and her team are so very talented at what they do. And their King Cake has to be one of my favorites!! Bittersweet is a true Nola gem.

The king cake can best be described as "life altering delicious. " You'll find yourself recalling events as things that occurred before you first had one of these incredible treats or things that occurred after. One could argue that the chocolate cream cheese version is "not a king cake" as I would. However, I'll still say that it is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. I could go on for hours breaking down all the details that make these king cakes so wonderfully delicious but it's better that you take that adventure for yourself.
Placed an order for two King Cakes while I was in New Orleans. They got my order wrong, but they were quickly able to fix it, and were very nice about it. The cakes were sugary deliciousness. Loved them.

We went on a Saturday and they had very limited treats available, which we were disappointed about because we were from out of town. We ate breakfast and purchased a couple of treats, which were all good. The only thing I think needs to improve with this place is to offer more treats, since it is a bakery and offer a wait staff to take orders at the customers table, check on the customer and refill their coffee.

The food was delicious... What they had at anyway. At 9am, while not at all busy (we were the only ones present when we arrived):Out of pancakesOut of potatoesOut of juiceTrue to its name, dining here truly was a "bittersweet" experience.
