We went here for brunch with high expectations. Let me first say that our waitress was amazing and we were greeted right away. We ordered the crab cheesecake and it was ok. I ordered the steak frites and eggs. The french fries came out of a bag and the steak was just a roast with gravy. The fries were cold and the crepes. We paid $168 it was God awful we didn't even finish the food. We ended up going across the street to Cafe beignet. Do not waste your time or money. There is so much good food in New Orleans just not here.

We were seated near the waiters booth/computer. It was a bit loud, as they appeared to be training new staff. We completely understand; however, the restaurant had only two other customers when we arrived and were seated. Service and food all excellent. Still would recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed Palace Cafe. We would go again. Overall the food was very good and the environment was great. Our waitress was a tad grumpy but she did take and deliver our order accurately.

Palace Cafe never fails to impress. The quality of the service is outstanding. The surroundings are beautiful. And everything on the menu is excellent. This is our go-to restaurant in NOLA.

Great menu so it was hard to decide what to have for dinner. The Apple salad was wonderful and big enough to share. The pepper duck was fabulous! Limited wines by the glass list, but good.

Food was cold, overpriced and poor service. We ordered bananas foster and they server made it and told us the sauce was watery because they add water to the liquor since they were low on liquor. For the prices you pay they should not serve the dessert if they don't have the ingredients. The manager never came by to o check on our meal. We had to send back entrees because they were not served warm. Spend your money somewhere else!

The Palace Cafe is a great place to eat usually. We love the restaurant, but this time, I had their version of Eggs Benedict, and it was awful, and the presentation wasn't great either. The biscuits were hard, and one of the egg yokes was laying off to the side of the plate. It was just an unappetizing mess. I was really disappointed. I felt like I had wasted my money because I just couldn't eat it.

The food was as always outstanding. We were seating on time and the dinning room and restrooms were clean. The service left a little to be desired. The server apologized for not being attentive do to a larger party being seated and requiring his attention. Well what about us? We were a party of six and require the same attention as the party of eight in his area. Would return and loved the food.

The space on the 2nd floor was nice. Cocktail was weak. Moules Frites was disappointing-the mussels, although flavorful, were cooked to the size of raisins. Bananas Foster was very good.

Palace Cafe exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing (thank you, Vinnie!) and atmosphere festive. Our waiter allowed us to dine at our pace and made excellent suggestions. Make sure to save room for the bananas foster for dessert!

We went for Sunday brunch and it was amazing! The crab cheesecake was so good - glad we decided to try it! And the bananas foster was delicious! Our server Nicole was the best and the live jazz music trio put the meal over the top for us! Great experience!

Great place for weekend brunch. Food is good. Not hard to get a table. Pleasant live music that is not loud or overpowering. Efficient and cheerful waitstaff. White tablecloth service at a price point a bit below some of its more famous cousins.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We went during the jazz brunch and loved the music and singing. We cannot give fault with anything. It was truly an enjoyable experience.

Food was good and restaurant atmosphere was nice. For appetizers, we had the crab cheesecake and fried oysters. Both were delicious, but I think the oysters were overpriced. Only came with 4 little ones. For dinner, I had the Fruit de Mare pasta which was wonderful. Wife had a fish dish. I had a bite and that was good as well. One bad experience we had was on drinks. One of the drinks finally came after we finished dinner. Bartender got an order and made 3 of the 4. Probably forgot after that. We had to remind the staff about the drink because they all forgot. Said bar was backed up but still complete an order and move onto next ticket whether it is the kitchen or bar otherwise this is exactly what will happen. Our waiter, Nigel, took it off our bill which was nice and the right thing to do considering we ordered the drink before appetizers and it finally came after we finished dinner.

Great food, good atmosphere. Can get a bit noisy due to single, large room. Service from Nicole S was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable for the French Quarter. Definitely recommend dining here.
