What a joy. Thanks to Peter for the great service from the bar and knowledge of the history of Blake’s. Paris in the kitchen dished my spectacular shrimp bacon burger and my date’s scallops in a white wine sauce which she described as “perfect.” Carried home the wowzer bread pudding. We’ll be back to try the weekend brunch. Great people make delicious food even better.

The vibe was good, and the drinks were great, but we had an issue with one of the orders, and the Manger Peter decided to go head to head with the guest, as the owner was sitting there but I assume that she didn't want to interfere because it was her birthday! But the chef did come out and took care of what Peter could have without the extra. Our other server was great, but I didn't catch her name. We try to support small businesses because we are and were small business owners, but we need to do better!!

I decided to make my way to Blake’s today to treat myself to a birthday brunch and I was not disappointed. The French toast and country potatoes gave me all the energy I needed to have an amazing birthday. The ambiance is great, as I came close to opening and basically had the place to myself! They did a great job with the place. Don’t pass up Blake’s when you come to NOLA!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. The entire experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We had the pleasure of visiting Blake’s Place for the first time for my daughter’s birthday this past Sunday. The atmosphere was GREAT and the food was DELICIOUS! The owner and the entire staff (hostess, server and chef) were A1(times 10) I can’t stop talking about this Blake’s Place. “Karaoke Sunday” was a whole VIBE!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Blake’s Place is a hidden uptown gem that serves up delicious and fresh food. I went here to celebrate my 27th Birthday and I’m so glad I did. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I really appreciated how attentive they were to our needs. They even wished me a happy birthday on the digital board☺️ My only criticism would be that it did take a while for us to get our food, which is something that I’m sure will get better with time. However when we got our food it was hot and so good. I ordered the catfish with the River-bend fries. For my drink I ordered a blueberry margarita that was so good. Also, we got there during happy hour so their margaritas was $5. I will definitely be back and recommend Blake’s Place to people.
I experienced my first time at Blake’s on Thursday and it was great ! Our server, Peter, was very knowledgeable and accommodating with our group. He made great suggestions about the menu, and explained each menu or special menu for the day. My family ordered off of the Tasty Treat menu and the regular menu. The Shrimp Burger and the Blackened Pasta from the tasty treat menu were absolutely delicious that some of my family went back the next day ! Everything came out hot, and while it took some time (we came when doors first opened), we had no problem whatsoever. The drink menu is extensive and the special drink - Cece’s Sunrise, was sooooo delicious. I’d highly recommend coming to Blake’s. I felt like I was family with the service rendered and I left with a full belly and happy palate. The next time I come, will hopefully be to try Taco Thursday or brunch. Keep up the good work Blake and company !

I came here for a solo date and Blake's Place DID NOT disappoint. My crab cake appetizer was bursting with crabmeat and excellent choice flavors, my Dumaine Treat had the cutest and most unexpected presentation, the catfish was SO FRESH it tasted like it was just caught and the entire dish was seasoned to perfection. My CeCe Sunrise was an added bonus expertly crafted with all fresh ingredients and the atmosphere was so beautifully decorated to foster a warm and inviting environment. Fatia and Taryn really took care of me during my visit. I felt like I was amongst family and not strangers. If you want excellent food, drinks, and service look no more because Blake's Place has it all!
