The donuts are amazing. I always get the maple bacon and another donut. They have a great variety. You have to get there early cause they sell out fast. The price is very reasonable

Not much of an atmosphere I think you have to get them to go. Possibly a chair outside. Nice enough folks. I don’t eat a lot of donuts anymore - but I happen to eat some king cake a few years ago and pried the name of the place out of my host. Blue dot donuts. So I went back to try a donut. these are far above anything else going on in New Orleans… beignets are fun with a cafe latte but that’s an awful lot of sticky messy powdered sugar. Beignets are not like they were 30 years ago. if you just want a donut -watch out. You may find yourself waking up three days later in a pile of cake somewhere. It’s that good.

The best donuts you'll ever eat served by the nicest folks you'll ever meet. We go at least once each time we visit New Orleans and Blue Dot never disappoints! Don't miss the Chocolate Iced Sourdough which is my #1 favorite donut of all time!

I attempted to visit a few times, always when they were closed. Finally made it on an early Friday morning. This place is amazing. If I lived in New Orleans, I would be a frequent customer. The apple fritter was excellent as was the maple bacon.

Very small donut bakery store on canal Street. Street parking is available on the side street.Fabulous place to stop if you like Cake donuts, which are hard to find at other bakeries and donut shops. Of course they have regular yeast donuts as well
