From the moment you enter, you are enveloped in a unique atmosphere, with spectacular live music that transports you to the heart of the city. I really dig the Blue Nile on Frenchmens street. It's a standing venue with a lot of good acts. This time, I saw Irvin Mayfield with an assortment of other characters including; Cyrille Neville, Kermit Ruffins, Jamal Batiste and others, plus a 6 person choir singing backup vocals from the audience. Quite the unique experience. Only in NOLA.
