We dined here the second evening after the restaurant's reopening on Magazine St. The decor provides for a romantic setting with a well appointed bricked interior. Our meal was flawless as was the service (Susan). Recommend the shellfish bisque and broiled oysters (Bon Ton oysters on the menu). This will be a regular stop for future New Orleans dining.
Gumbo was so flavorful omg. Blake, the bartender was so inviting. A lot of “trendy” restaurants try too hard. Bon Ton is a prime example of just rhythm and hospitality. Under pressure, even the staff communicated with each other with such respect. Man, I’m coming back.
Craving for Crawfish Étouffée since we arrived in NOLA. A quick search on Yelp led us to this little joint. Bon Ton Cafe located in the downtown area which not far away from the tourist spots, but this place haven’t fill out by tourists. We came here around 11: 30 am in the morning, and the restaurant was getting packed since the business hour started. We can see many of the customers are locals. We knew Bon Ton Cafe is the place we had been looking for.Ambiance: 5/5The restaurant...
