After passing 50 person lines over and over for cafe Beignet we came across Bon’s street food. Tucked away and perfect. No line and Jamie greeted us with a treat for our pup, and a warm smile, which is of course the way to our heart. Beignet’s were amazing!!Skip the tourist traps and check it out!

So impressed with their gluten friendly options!! Two members of my party were in HEAVEN with these delicious gluten free dishes. We went at least 3 different times over our weekend trip. I think their regular beignets were the best I’ve had honestly… There wasn’t anything we didn’t like: shrimp roll, bread pudding, shrimp and grits, duck bombs. Very good drinks as well, Bloody Mary was perfectly spicy, and their mix drinks were great! (All food pictured is gluten free)

Food was inedible, the gumbo seemed like it was from a can, had to throw it out. Only went for the gluten free options and it was all bad. The gluten free beignets were just horrendous

Gluten free beignets!!! The beignets don't taste like traditional ones. It is very dense and reminds me of fried rice pudding. There are strong notes of cinnamon and brown sugar. They fill you up quickly! They also have a lot of gluten free food options as well.

We ate here two days in a row, we loved it so much! It was so nice to find gluten free options for my daughter who has a wheat allergy that actually tastes great, and the regular beignets were our favourite of anywhere we tried.

The menu advertised a veggie burger and we were told that they didn’t have them (ever) and when I pointed the menu out was told, “they are not in yet.” Weird. Then, my fiancé was told that they ran out of shrimp for the shrimp and grits he purchased. When he went to get a refund on this item, about 10 minutes into us eating the rest of our meal, he was given shrimp and grits that apparently had been sitting out in the kitchen. The shrimp was cold and not deveined. The food was subpar overall and not as dietarily-inclusive as advertised. Highly disappointed.
