I didn’t visit this bar personally BUT my daughter was in that area and became separated from her phone and it was found by the bartender, Mechelle, in the alley behind the bar that isn’t accessible to patrons. I reported it lost and Mechelle called the number I put on the phone and held it for my daughter to pick up. This kindness and honesty is what we need more of in this world! Thank you Mechelle for doing all of that and to the other bartender, Allie, for holding onto it until my daughter could get there. You both have renewed my hope in people doing the right thing 🩷 Keep up the good work and spreading love and kindness in this world!

Horrible staff, rude and disrespectful. Waited on my husband and ignored me. Went in a second time and was told is was a cash bar at the moment. That's interesting, no reason like credit card machine down, just only taking cash. Won't be back.

Hung out here while waiting to get in to Preservation Hall. Awesome pour of Guinness. Very laid back away from the noise of Bourbon St. (but not far away) Awesome place
Mechele is an incredible bar tender. Super attentive and quick behind the bar. The bar has an incredible vibe lined with first responder patches and memorials of regulars that have passed on. Great place to have a drink and connect with some locals. Get the Guinness and just sit for a while, can’t go wrong.
