Wow! It's been 10 years since I last reviewed this spot. And it is still a solid choice for a casual but fine dining experience. They've changed the menu a bit to have small, mid and large plates. I love love love the grilled Caesar salad so will almost always get that. And I got their scallops again and they were yummy. Unfortunately they were out of my dining companions first 2 choices on the Saturday night we were there. So she came up with a 3rd option. My old fashioned was great and then I had a lovely glass of bubbles to cut the richness of my super chocolate dessert. Service was great as always and now you have choices between dining inside or out on the patio which has greatly increased seating and you can make a reservation online. Definitely still a great spot for a lovely dinner.

We’ve been trying to eat at Boucherie forever, and finally the stars aligned in our busy schedules to pop in. Lucky for us they were having some happy hour specials! We couldn’t decide so we ordered everything! The rumors are true y’all, the food is AMAZING. Deceptively simple items like roasted Brussels & a burger were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! We sat at the bar, & everyone from hostess to waitstaff were so accommodating & fun! The bartender served us classic cocktails & more imaginative beverages that were more delicious than the last, in a town that had its share of ‘must try’ menus. We only intended to get a snack, & we left stuffed. My companion described the gumbo as “the best he’d ever had,” and that’s saying something! Cannot wait to go back!!

We had a bachelorette party dinner catered by Boucherie at our Airbnb. Angie and Sara went above and beyond in communication, delivery and setup for our dinner! We had a delicious charcuterie display, salad w/french dressing, a variety of poboys, and a case of sparkling wine. It was an amazing value for everything we received. All of the girls loved the food and we grazed on the leftovers throughout our weekend too. If you need an awesome catered dinner do not hesitate to have Boucherie take care of you!

Just a special place with great vibes. Wonderful service and the food was fabulous. Their small plate offerings allowed us to taste a number of selections and each one was enough for 2 people. Just perfect.Kid-friendliness: I see this more as an adult location.

We've really liked Boucherie over time, which is why I would estimate we've eaten there more than 20 times over the past several years. We had a sub-optimal experience there nearly a year ago, but decided to give it another go last night. It was even worse. The whole experience felt "amateurish" for lack of a better description. The hostess was brutal. At arrival our first interaction with her was her saying "I'm helping some other people so just stand over there." Sour face, and not an ounce of a welcoming tone in how she dealt with us or other customers. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. After she brought us to our table, she then brought silverware and proceeded to place them in a different way for each person at the table (I don't really care whether my fork is on the right versus left, but it was all just really odd how she scattered the stuff in front of everyone). Then left a carafe of water on the table with no offering to pour water into everyone's glasses. We were given 9 different paper menu's and none of them were food menus...just a lot of duplicates of the beverage and wine offerings. Later someone came with the amuse-bouche, and said "we only have two" (there were three of us dining). When entrees came there was no silverware left on the table. The hostess was nearby and we asked her for utensils. They never came and we just got up and got them ourselves. The food was mixed. The brisket, boudin balls, and bread pudding remain standouts. I had what was supposed to be chicken and andouille gumbo with potato salad that appeared and tasted like "short rib soup" for lack of a better description. I've never seen chicken look like that and there was no potato salad. I thought they brought me the wrong dish but I couldn't find anything on the menu that seemed like what was delivered to the table. The waitress was authentically nice and did a good job of scrambling covering a lot of tables. But the coordination across the staff of people from the hostess to the people serving the food was just awful. We will never be back to Boucherie. There are too many good restaurants in this town to go there. I suggest others stay away.

Went here for Valentine's Day menu and it was everything I could have dreamed and more. It's a super intimate space with the nicest and most attentive staff. We did the wine pairings as well and they were spectacular. Seriously the best meal I've had in a while. I'm already planning to go back!!

Still delicious! I visited in 2019, then again in 2024 - still amazing! The scallops were amazing, and the wait staff was friendly. Love the quaint, friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again on my nexr trip to NOLA.

The New Year's Eve dinner was a disaster. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. The waiter is not to blame, the management was terrible. Initially our table was still occupied (which was okay) but we were not offered a drink during that time. Then we were told we had to sit outside, which was not apparent beforehand when we booked. The drinks took ages (cocktails over an hour) and the wine pairing didn't come at the same time as the courses which meant the food got cold. At other tables the guests did not get the same course at the same time. The food was okay but not great. The wine and food was not explained. The waitor was very friendly but extremly busy.Seemed to take too many reservations. All in all very disappointing on New Year's Eve and not acceptable for the price. We spoke to several people who were all very unhappy.

Went for the NYE pre fixe. Food was fantastic but service was extremely slow. Plan for it to take the whole night.

Couldn't tell you about the food or the drinks, but the service...well. We arrived an hour early to get drinks since they had a reputation for cocktails. A private party was being held and we were told we had to get out or sit outside in 45 degree weather. Hostess claimed nobody arrives early for a reservation or stands at the bar. We were made to feel in the wrong and her comment was "What do you want me to do?". Great hospitality. We certainly received the reservation confirmation, but no notice of a private party/don't arrive early.

Loved eating here, the food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten! We split a bottle of wine and enjoyed the boudin balls, steak tartar, scallops, bread pudding, and pecan pie along with some other tasty items.I highly recommend this place for a date night, any celebration, or just because you want a soul changing meal! This is a place you go, eat, and take your time! The staff did a great job; they are helpful, enthusiastic, and the space is homey. Also, the bathrooms here are quite nice. It was an overall great dinner and I will be going back! I honestly wish I’d taken more pictures but I was too busy enjoying myself!
