My mistake was that I had high expectations for a Brennan owned restaurant. Booked as a special meal for our last night in New Orleans. Whilst the food was nice, the service or rather, the organisation, was less than perfect. Cocktails took rather a while to arrive and our starters were served while we were only just drinking them. This is our first time dining at this establishment. After eating at various Brenner restaurants, we had high expectations for our lunch. My wife ordered the Blue Crab Melt. When is arrived at the table, the sandwich was obviously burnt. How something this burnt got out of the kitchen and served is the question. The Alligator and Crawfish Rigatoni was overly seasoned in my opinion. The only positive was that the service we received was very good.
