We were seated for about 20 minutes and had to ask the seating host to send a waiter over. The waitress was very nice, but she kept clearing things before we were done with them. The food was fine, but the whole experience was not what I expected.
Tommy was our waiter and he was by far OUTSTANDING! Very attentive, friendly, and really helped us to enjoy our dinner. Food was some of the best in NOLA! Will definitely recommend to everyone!
I was charged $8 for a bottle of tap water placed on the table, and not provided an itemized receipt to attempt and disguise this fact. Food was largely flavorless, and value did not match the cost
Always an enjoyable meal at Briquette. Every bite was wonderful, from the scallop appetizer to the Snapper Pontchartrain to the chocolate creme brulee. Great ambiance, a fine place to have a great meal any day. I have been there about ten times, and have never been disappointed.
Everything was excellent except the noise level. Packed house for NYE. Need sound absorption boards throughout.
Sadly, we found out why this establishment was almost completely empty on a Saturday night. Blackened Redfish with Crawfish Étouffée was so very disappointing. Fish was over cooked so badly you had to use a knife to cut it, and completely cold. The étouffée needs to be labeled crawfish flavored. Because there are none. And I seriously mean; none. Potatoes were hours if not days old. Barely warm and so very dry. There is not really an “our version” of Hollandaise Sauce. And theirs was not. Not even close. A 12 year old could have done better. Same potatoes hours if not prepared the day before. A very sub-par, Red Lobster offering with 5 Star cost.
I'm so glad that I found this place and will definitely be back. I started with their Espresso Martini and tried three small superb dishes - Creole Seafood Gumbo, Shrimp Grits with Goat cheese and the seared Scallops with goat cheese. Ended this delicious parade with a totally divine dessert - Dark Chocolate Crème Brûlée.
Rich was an amazing server. The food was prepared well and served in good time. Desserts were also very good, but the Molasses dessert did not go well with the other desserts. Did not like it at all. The restaurant was well-maintained and the staff was attentive, friendly, and fun. Go with confidence. The entrees are incredible.
Everything was very good but the price range is definitely not $30-50 per person! It must be $50-100 without alcohol.
Drinks were good, not amazing. Waiter was very nice and served us well. Food had temp issues. My fish was not hot, not even warm and I told the waiter so he took my plate and put it in the salamander - not the solution that is needed for a plate of fish. My husband and son's food temp was somewhat warm - this is not acceptable. Dessert temp was not correct either. It did not help that we sat next to the kitchen, which you see into clearly. We watched as the cooks/chefs picked up their cell phones multiple times during our meal. At one time, 3 were on their phones at the same time with tickets on the line. Then plates put up to go out and sitting - food getting cold. Frustrated is a good word for what I felt when the bill came. Paying $$$$ for this dinner - we will not return.

This is a very cute restaurant with fantastic artwork. The service was impeccable the food was average only because it was in New Orleans and there are plenty of great food options. We had a party of 10 and we all had a blast and were able to talk to each other and be comfortable

We went there last night and this place was awesome. Awesome ambience and the food was absolutely amazing. We're definitely go there again.!
Beautiful restaurant tremendously personable staff and fantastic food. I had a surf and turf. The scallops and beef medallions both were extremely tender and bursting with flavor.

Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The food was incredible, flavorful, and well balanced. It was a great value. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends that travel to New Orleans.
