Food is amazing feels like a home cook meal. To me it felt like one of the best meals and I have ever had. I loved the white beans w/ sausage over rice and I loved their cabbage dish. The woman works there serving the food is very nice(friendly and helpful). If you live or are visiting New Orleans this spot is a must. That being said it's probably a better for takeout than dining in.
Who knew I had to go to this little corner shop to get an awesome Philly cheesesteak! The woman behind the counter was super helpful in ordering and was so nice! Another person in line told me the fried chicken is top notch so if you find yourself in a fix for delicious food on the go... stop here for sure!
I absolutely love the Brown Derby. My husband frequents there daily and he will bring me some fire greens or red beans and rice, or hamburger steak with mashed potatoes. Mmmmm Deeeelish.
