Cozy atmosphere, super friendly bartender, and there’s a cat! Food was a big let down, got a house salad with chicken. $26 dollars. And on top of that the chicken tasted like fish, do not order anything with chicken.

So…I ordered the Rachel…the menu references sauerkraut and thousand island…I got coleslaw…blue cheese…which I am not a fan of…onion rings were good

Buffa's is an eccentric neighborhood place that has been in NOLA for over 80 years. Not a tourist destination exactly, but a place that certainly bears the footprints of local New Orleans history. Very casual and unassuming in every respect. You can stop in and relax here.
