Had to go back twice for breakfast. Shrimp & grits are incredible.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in the French Quarter. Damn good food. Excellent service. Prices are reasonable compared to other locations.

BEST brunch place ever!!! Ok platting is never their top priority but everything else is superb. Great quantity and quantity, and they don’t treat you like tourists.

The café looked lovely from the outside with a very long queue for brunch on a Saturday. The menu looked good but the portions are small. Our orders came without grits nor strawberries nor maple syrup. We had to call the waitress several times. She eventually came but half listen from a distance which made her miss the complete sentence. The surcharge of strawberry (singular) was 2 USD for a single strawberry. The fried oysters were hard and salty. The fried green tomatoes were hard. After 3 days in New Orleans I can say I've had so much better. The veg omelette was mostly spinach and Oh so small. The coffee supposedly better than from the outside was subpar. The toilets were dirty but also the way to the them, with dirty tissue on the floor. I know it was the end of the service. Overall it was bad service, bad attitude and bad food. The table next to us didn't fare better. Their food arrived but no one bothered to bring their cutlery. They had to go and help themselves. Upon paying, we heard the client giving feedback. They waited 1h outside for their table (we waited 45min) and then a further hour in the back of the restaurant without service. I could see her omelette was as meager as ours.

Waited 30 minutes for a table, ordered, waited 20 minutes for drinks, at 35 minutes of sitting at a table and seeing tables turn over all around us asked about our food - told 5-10 more minutes. Chose to leave hungry and pay $18 for the bloody mary so we could go somewhere else. People around us were even asking us what was up with our order.

Omg! This place makes me so happy! The music! The menu! The food! The lovely, happy staff! I want to eat here all weekend. Thank you! Get the grits!! Get pecans in your pancake, you will not regret it. We were here exactly when they opened st 7:00 am. The employees were delightful! I am eating my pancake and listening to Depech Mode. Life is good in New Orleans 💜💚🧡

Like most places in Nola, this Cafe was very quaint. I love the second level patio seating. Just looking over the rails, admiring the views of local shops and restaurants. The food here based off my crab omelet and my husband's pancakes is very good and flavorful!! The grits we had were the perfect consistency! Both days we went the staff was friendly and upbeat. I will definitely visit here again!

Eh this place sucks. They put you on a list but then don't honor the list letting others not on the list in, but that's not what sucks. Server gave me jam and syrup everything but silverware. I had to steal that off an empty table. They're menu is marginal and they won't ever let you swap pancakes for something else. There are better places than this.
