Absolutely rudest hostess ever. We accidentally went to the wrong location and were 5 minutes late after running all the way there from the other location, but she wouldn’t even consider helping us. Her approach was “sucks to be you” and “goodbye.” If you are looking for a family friendly place to spend your money, this is not it. I’ll be reporting the experience to JW Marriott too since they highly suggested we eat there.

It was our last day and we decided to get brunch before the flight. The atmosphere was amazing and the location was perfect. We got the fried tomato which was top notch. We got the big easy , the crab omelette and the seafood Benedict. Everything was so tasty and I’ve had leftover for the plane. The service was a mess. The waitress was a little forgetful and looked like she had a busy night the night before. We had to signal her for help or get a to go box. She was not as attentive as we will like but the food is phenomenal.

I liked the atmosphere of the place. The food itself was fine…your regular bfast food. The service was a little slow which made the experience not great.

We had the most amazing time at Cafe Fleur De Lis!!!! we were only meant to stay two nights, but after our breakfast here on our second morning we extended our stay an additional day because we knew we would want more of this food. The shrimp and grits, the shrimp po boy, the fried green tomatoes, the boudin, the fried grits, all of it was spectacular! Would 100% recommend. And the experience was made even better by nancy, who not only read our minds but was able to recommend additional ways that we could get in all the food that we wanted to try within the same meal, and was watching our table to make sure that all the food came out exactly the way it should and that we knew what we were doing when we ate each dish! We wouldn't have had half as good a time without Nancy's help!! We dined here twice in three days and only wish we could extend our stay further to have another meal here. If we're ever back in Nola, this will be our number one stop!!!

Great breakfast place, discovered “grits” here, traditional southern side. Definitely need to try the Bloody Mary with shrimp and bacon, they make it virgin, if you’re not ready to have vodka in the morning. Dishes are huge

Had a great brunch. We were a walk in, and were able to get a table on Saturday in 20 minutes. Service was nice and the food came fast. The French toast was a little different as it was made with biscuit dough.

They have a chef's rotating eggs Benedict. Today was a slspicy sausage patty (not spicy). Would come back and try more food.

Beautiful place in downtown New Orleans. It's a pity that the flowers are artificial and all the straws are plastic, but I'm not an activist so it has no influence on the rating :)

From the moment we arrived to receiving the simple order, 45 minutes passed, and in the meantime, customers who arrived later than us were already finishing their orders. The waitress... writes and doesn't even serve, so... I don't understand the role here.

The food is no better.
Bacon Benedicts are the worst since I can remember. Super dry roll, soft bacon not crispy (i.e. not all of it and probably the first one ever since I visited the USA)

Avocado omelette okay. They called it avocado because of the two thin slices on top (photo) but I don't nitpick anymore. It was ok, soft, tasty.

So overall it's a beautiful place and the service and food are not up to par. I'm surprised by the queue and such high ratings, but it's a subjective matter. My rating is for those closest to me who know me and my preferences.

Bad experience, we spent more than 30 minutes waiting and then my eggs arrived cold.

I really wanted to love this place and look into many reviews. Unfortunately our experience wasn't a good one. I ordered the big breakfast and my husband ordered the eggs benedict. I noticed they had an "infamous" espresso with baileys that caught my eye on the menu so I ordered one for 13$. My drink came and it was cold and in a regular coffee mug and just looked unappealing. It tasted just like cold coffee with liquor. No garnish & poor presentation. When our food finally came my hash browns, toast and sausage were burnt. I love extra crispy and tried to eat them anyway, but the burnt flavor was too overwhelming. They brought my husband eggs florentine rather then benedict. The server did not return, so my husband had to call out to her after she took another order for a table near us. I needed syrup and butter for my pancakes, toast and biscuits, unfortunately she didn't give me a chance to ask while going to correct the eggs benedict. It wasn't till she brought back my husbands order that I was able to ask for butter and syrup. By then my pancakes and biscuits were cold and toast was cold and hard. We couldn't enjoy our meal together. When it is time to pay they bring you a card reader to the table were you can barely see what you ordered only the total. We noticed that it was 60+ for just both of us and after tip 76$. They don't offer a receipt till after you pay. When I saw the itemized receipt, I noticed they charged us for biscuits, gravy and sausage. They did remove the charge but, you have to wonder how many others get overcharged without knowing. The table next to us also had issues including missing items and cold coffee. If I can suggest: cups will absorb the heat of the coffee, so putting hot water from the coffee maker spout to warm the cup up can help with cold coffee. Small business pointers can help keep your customers happy.
I also noticed that there are many reviews were people really wanted to enjoy this location and we're truly disappointed after so many great experiences in NOLA. If you want to grow a genuine local business this feedback should matter. When reading reviews you can tell ALOT from a business that responds and acknowledges feedback. A business that doesn't find these things important is just another hole in the wall place that will never rise above the competition or make their investors and true believers proud. This place is beautiful and has so much potential to be amazing!
