Food was really good but after being seated we waited for 40 minutes to place our order and finally had to flag someone down to take it. They serve many types of coffee and tea but never provided a spoon and when served coffee, the waiter placed my cup down and removed the saucer. Why? I asked for ketchup and was brought an empty bottle. When a full bottle next arrived it still had the seal on. This place needs more professional waitstaff.

As a French person living in the US, I really miss food from my country. It’s been forever since a had a very nice dinner, tasty food, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I can assure you that this was THE best meal I had in the us. Loved it so much. 🥺🫶🏻

We’ve had 2 experiences at Cafe Amelie’s. Both were exemplary! Dinner, Desert, Drinks were all delicious. Exactly what you expect of Dinner in the French Quarter.
Courtyard dining there completes a New Orleans experience.
