Had great serving of granola, fruits and berries and yoghurt for breakfast. Could’ve had a bit more yoghurt though.

I had a quick bite at this cute little cafe. Service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent! Crab cake BLT and side salad with house made vinaigrette dressing. The crab cake BLT was loaded with baby spinach, sliced juicy tomato, thick cut, smokey, crispy bacon, on toast with a side of creamy, packed-with-flavor remoulade dressing. And let’s talk about this crab crake for a minute - fried to perfection, crispy, golden brown, no filler, mouth watering. Everything was fresh and made to order. And because I ate alone, I was able to enjoy the beautiful view of the park and do some people watching too! I had this fabulous lunch for $25 with tip. It was a steal!

It had a great menu. I, however, needed respite from all the delicious fried goodies and was able to get a lovely plate of yogurt and fruit.

07/12/2024 - First visit to Cafe At The Square and it was an enjoyable experience. Located in downtown New Orleans, also located within the Blake Hotel, and also belonging to the BH the cafe offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is open to the public not just the BH’s guests. Nice comfortable seating with nice decor. There is also a small bar. For breakfast I ordered the Breakfast Melt and a cup of coffee. Delicious and the coffee was fresh. Nearby parking for a fee. Awesome service. Thanks, Ken. Great prices.

I've eaten here a few times while visiting New Orleans. The service and food are consistently good. The staff is friendly and courteous with frequent visits to check on you. The prices are very reasonable and the atmoshere is casual. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Check them out if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.
