This is NOT Cafe du Monde but usually a small wait compared to the real thing. Beignet s are heavy and larger so ok but not greatParking: Street parking good luck with that...Wheelchair accessibility: Not easy

Chill atmosphere, great architecture concept and intimate seating arrangement. GREAT FOOD!!! The Beignets were so good ..light crunchy outside , soft & fluffy inside almost melting in your mouth ? , so yummy??.. the Breakfast Sandwich with the croissant was absolutely delicious! Top it all off with a Mimosa ?? The pecan pie was equally delicious!

The wait was so long! The food was a huge disappointment. The omelette was just completely unseasoned and overcooked. I threw most of it away. My husband didn’t finish his meal either. The beignets were good, but in retrospect the ones at Cafe du Monde were miles away better. At the end of the trip we decided this was the worst place we went while in New Orleans

This place was great. The staff friendly and having fun. The food was great. Im just concerned I was charged twice for the sandwich. See. We paid 30.00 for beignet, 2 bottles of water and a small wine. The sandwich was 14.95. It never came. I inquired and was told "I didn't charge you but sent to the kitchen"so I had to shell another 14.95. If I wasn't charged how did it go to the kitchen, and why didn't it come out? The pastries are 4.95. But there are no prices on the menu for water and wine. Pretty expensive water. And if it was 20 bucks for a small wine, litterally 1 glass, that is outrageous

This is the place. A hidden gem in the middle of a popular area. A fairly small shop with some indoor and lovely outdoor seating. Make the effort to get outdoor seating. The coffee and espressos are wonderful, the beignets are the best, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, etc., are cooked to order and some of the best in the city. For over 10 years we have made it a point to always come back to this particular breakfast spot. The Cafe Beignet on Decatur pales in comparison, while the one on Bourbon Street is a decent 2nd to this original location. No music here, except for the occasional street performer outside of the outdoor seating area, but that one occasional street performer can make all of the difference. The Bourbon Street location has live music, as does the Decatur Street location, but this is by far the better location for good food and comfortable dining. Not to be missed.
The service was as bland as the food. However, the outdoor seating was at the police precinct. Kinda liked that part

Best place yet I've been to four other beignet cafes
The sweet tea tastes like pure sugar syrup and a 2$ surcharge for oat milk is ridiculous! The beignets are great, but the set-up with one register causes a really long queue. Be prepared to wait for more than half an hour.

Food - fine.Service - bad.Came for the beignets. Food was fine. What dropped this rating was the service. We understand that it’s a busy cafe, and things won’t be fast. However our one order of beignets came out with the breakfasts and orders of people who were easily 10 orders behind us in line. The people directly in front of us in line received and ate their multiple orders before ours came out. If we had ordered breakfast or some other made to order food, totally reasonable. But the wait for one order and the fact our orders was so far behind really put a damper on this experience. Will not be returning.

As a tourist I had to check off beignet off my NOLA bucket list - turned out they taste just like powdered donut ??♀️ not sure what the hype is all about. The coffee was mediocre.Nailed it with the decor though.
