Earlier the better. Only stopped in for the beignets in the morning on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. Seating outside you can see the playground easily.

This is a beautiful little cafe! It is right next to the New Orleans City Park, which is a beautiful plane in of itself. The beignets are amazing! I would definitely check it out if you are in the New Orleans area.

Delicious spot! The frozen cafe au lait I highly recommend! The beignets and cold brew were great too! Much less crowded than the other cafe du monde locations. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cute shop to get souvenirs as well.

Some places are famous for a reason. I wondered if it would be one of those places that are just famous and lost the integrity and survives on hype! But nope! Their beignet was light and fluffy and sweet happy little thing! I didn’t like the coffee but my partner loved it!

Always seeking off-the-beaten-path spots when visiting a city, Cafe Du Monde is one exception. Literally everyone said it's worth the hype. "Start with Cafe Du Monde as a beignet baseline and then branch out from there," they said.Another friend recommended this location inside City Park, New Orleans' large park, larger than NYC's Central Park. The lines are shorter compared to the OG.Seconds after ordering, we each got a bag of three beignets with a mound of powder sugar. Not expecting to like them, we devoured them. The texture is a little crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside.To wash them down, we got the frozen coffee, which was very sweet.
