The food is very very good and such a convenience inside the hotel. It closes at 12 which is way too early, but a lot of places close early on. I got the chicken sandwich with home fries and it was so big I had to use a fork and knife. Later on I got the hangover burger, and it was delicious!

Waited 15 minutes for a server then left. The place is clean and marked as open, but there was no one in the restaurant or bar area. The hotel is on Bourbon St. All the hotels along the famous walk have amazing restaurants except this one.

This place could do with some updating and cleaning, the floors were filthy and we had come shortly after it opened in the morning. Nothing notable about the food. The biscuit was good at least. It’s convenient if you’re staying in the hotel and don’t mind a basic breakfast but I wouldn’t come here otherwise. Service was pretty sparse even though there weren’t many people there, we still had to search for our waitress. Anyway, I don’t think I’d recommend it.

Part of a hotel that has made no effort to keep the place up. The was no music or anything when I was there, but there is an amazing jazz lounge across the street.
The Cafe Opera is our favorite place to go for breakfast in the French Quarter The staff are all wonderful and the omelets are terrific.
I stayed at the 4 Points Sheraton for a week in October 2018. My lodging included breakfast every day at the Cafe Opera; initially I was a touch skeptical (after all, it's New Orleans and there are amazing restaurants on every corner and this is the hotel restaurant). Cafe Opera won me over. The menu isn't vast, but the food is excellent and excellently prepared. The atmosphere is relaxing, low key and thankfully not crazy noisy like so many restaurants. The service here exceeded any expectation I could have had. Every morning, I walked in and Mary greeted me and, after the first morning, remembered me. She made sure I had a cuppa hot tea and took great care of me. She was engaging, funny and made me feel welcomed every morning. I recommend the Cafe Opera.
Good choices on the menu...everything from a full blown eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, coffee/tea to an eggs sandwich.
Super friendly staff, new menu with great food options! Especially great fro breakfast if you are in town for work and need to get something early before the restaurants in the Quarter open.
Great place for a quick bar snack and beverage, quality of food above average and reasonable pricing

We had breakfasts and lunches there. Good food in the hotel. Friendly staff. Give it a try if you do not want to walk.
We ate breakfast one day and had catered lunches and banquet. The chef is excellent - not your standard fare for the catering menu. Excellent!
Bananas Foster was very good, Place was empty, even during Mardi Gras
I'm not sure I have enough adjectives to convey how good our meals were (we went two nights in a row). All I can say is that our plates were as clean as we could make them without licking them. Chef Domonic and John Henry made sure our experience at Cafe Opera was exceptional. We knew before we left that this was going to be one of our "must visit" places in New Orleans.
