This is definitely not the same good Cajuns it used to be. At least this past Sunday the seafood and sides I was served was COLD. The $1 boiled egg had absolutely no seasoning or juice on the inside so don’t waste your time with that. The corn was overcooked and soggy. And of course the seafood was wildly overcooked too. Tell me how you overcooked and cold??? Also very very expensive I’ll be going to the blue store or casnets next time.

We walked in over an hour before closing. They already had all the chairs on the tables. Nobody greeted us and the employees were mopping the floor. I get everyone was ready to go but but it was well before closing time at 7pm and we wanted dinner. We just turned around and walked out.

Let me tell y’all, I am from NJ and I am a seafood junkie! I decided to try out Cajun Seafood and BABYYYY (in my NOLA voice) they did not disappoint! I had the large crabs, shrimp (head on) crawfish and eggs. When I tell you that food was so good and prices very reasonable. Each and every time I visit I will be here!!!!! The best seafood I have had in a long time, and that spice is top tier. Thanks for a wonderful experience ❤️ oh the staff is everything l, so sweet and pleasant.

We have very good cajun seafood boil in Chicago, knowing it came from New Orleans, I am very excited to try out the cajun seafood boil when I am here in New Orleans, Our Uber driver recommend this place to us, we also checked out the reviews before we went there.
But we are very disappointed at the food, other than salty and spicy, there is not much other flavors, the seafood is also not very fresh. we got one pound dungeness crab, 1 pound shrimp, and 1 pound sauted crab, one pig feet, one sausage, and 1 turkey neck. Half of dungeness crab and half of the shrimp seems cooked on the same day, but half seems the leftover of the day before, you can tell from the color and the firmness of the meat. Sauted crab taste ok, but it is super messy , it is kind of sweet , with lots honey like layer outside of the crab. sausage taste good, but it is more fatty than sausage we ever tried elsewhere. pig feet was cooked in the same sauce of the shrimp, salty and spicy, no other taste.
I didn't rate it one star is because the price is very affordable, they also have lots of other options we didn't try, and the restaurant seems popular among the locals, we see lots locals come pick up food here.

My husband and I visted New Orleans for the first time and wanted to eat where the locals ate and this is the place that stood out the most to us. If your not a local the ordering was a lil confusing as expected but we figured it out. We had almost everything including the turkey necks! It was delicious... unlike any cajun food we've had anywhere else outside of Louisiana! Establishment was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable and casual, no bells and whistles just good food. We talk about it all the time and plan to return on our next visit!
