The big to-go gumbo was a delicious bargain at under $10; the ingredients alone would prob be twenty bucks from a grocery store by themselves! If I was lucky enough to live in Bywater I would haunt your doorstep.
The vibe was so DOPE....we wanted authentic NOLA food, and that is what we recieved. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the shrimp with garlic sauce. He suggested the rice, and gave it to me complimentary. Prices are definitely affordable, with good portions

🌶️ Spice: 3.9/5 - lips tinglin, nose running but not burning my mouth off
Salt/ - i’m a sodium fiendddd so a lil bit more salt & citrus woulda set these off
Size: 4.5/5 literally NO tiny lil babies that i felt bad for eating; some bigggg boys in there w big ole claws
Cook/ - easily peeled, no breaking apart & even the bigger crawfish...
